"So, how are your boy toys." I sighed, recognizing the voice.
"They're not boy toys." I replied as I continued walked down the hall. Kendall moved to walk in stride with me but I didn't look up at him. I hadn't really talked to him or interacted with him at all since I told him to stop hanging around me, for good. He kept his promise and stopped bothering me too. I made a good choice. I was glad I chose Harry.
"Right, is it just boy toy now? Heard you and Harry are dating."
"How did you find that out?" I asked. "Wait.. Don't answer that. It doesn't matter." Kendall smirked.
"I bet my money on Zayn you know."
"Goodbye Kendall." I said dismissively. He stopped following me with a small laugh and I breathed a sigh of relief as I entered my history class with Harry. He was already in his seat and my stomach did flips as I watched him push his hair back. Walking over to my seat next to him, I sat down with a sigh. Harry was tapping away at his phone and I smiled lightly as he put it away.
"Hey babe." He was smiling at me.
"Hi." I replied leaning over the desk and kissing him lightly.
"Tired?" He asked. I shrugged.
"A little bit and I don't want to take this test." He looked startled and I laughed. "I'm kidding, we don't have a test."
"Emma I swear.." Harry said shaking his head at me. In another five more minutes, class started up and as the teacher did roll call, I noticed how Aaron wasn't here which was unusual. He didn't usually miss classes. I shrugged it off though. Maybe he was sick.
As the lesson began, I absentmindedly began hitting the cap of my pen after I finished writing notes. On my desk, my phone buzzed, a text from Harry. You look cute when you're concentrating. I glanced over at him.
I look cute all the time. Focus on the class. He snorted in his seat and put his phone away and I did the same. Ten minutes later, Aaron rushed into the classroom in a flurry. He apologized to the teacher for being late and then for interrupting before heading to the back. All the seats in the front were filled up, in clouding his and the next available seat was the one in front of me. He smiled as he sat down.
"Why are you late?" I asked him quietly.
"Alarm didn't go off." He shrugged.
"It's almost eleven in the morning." He nodded his head, smiling. I could never understand how boys sleep like the dead. I leaned back in my seat as he turned around. Harry was staring at us but I shot him a look. We've been over this. I didn't like Aaron.
When class was over, Aaron asked me what had missed and I started lightly explaining some things to him. Harry stood by me almost territorially. "Thanks Emma. I'm glad I know you. You're a great help."
"Anytime Aaron."
"No, not anytime." Harry interjected.
"Harry." I said touching his chest lightly as he glared at Aaron who gave him a funny look.
"Chill man, I know she's your girlfriend."
"You do? I don't think I've ever told you." Aaron shook his head.
"No, it's kind of obvious. He's very protective of you. But anyways, I don't like Emma. I don't even swing that way." He looked over at me. "Didn't Niall tell you?"
"Tell me what?" I asked, confused. So much information had just been thrown at me. Aaron was gay? Huh.. I didn't expect that but I'm glad he told us. I don't think Harry would have a believed me if Aaron just told me privately.
