Alex freaking Woods. What the hell? He left the school last semester and now he is back again?
My life has become a freaking episode of Doremon. Too many irrelevant things to digest at the moment.

"Well... forget it..." I hissed to myself as I got up and he followed my lead a few seconds later after he collected all his belongings from the ground.

"What a great way to begin this wonderful year with such a warm welcome!" He exclaimed as I snorted.

Asher finally realized that we had a company as he stopped cursing his literature professor and followed my vision to be greeted by the devil himself and started cursing under his breath, again.
"Hey man!" Asher greeted him as Alex responded back with a fist bump. I just stood there in silence, glaring at the person standing a few inches away from me. I held his gaze, which was turning colder by seconds.

In my defence, my glare was enough to made a person puddle down in his own sweat. Ask my neighbours' kids if you don't belive me. So yeah, what more do to expect me to do other than to use my biggest weapon. I took a second to look at Asher, who had stopped his ranting finally, only to find that he was long gone. Asshole.

Alex, on the other hand, happily returned my glare. But the point was that he wasn't actually glaring. He had that same old egoistic smirk plastered on his face. Anyways, that din't affect the glaring competition I was participating in.
We moved past, roughly shoulder bumping each other and slightly wincing at the pain.

I stormed into the class, searching of the familiar brown, curly mop of hair. As soon as I spotted Asher in the class room, speaking to a girl... (flirting to be more specific) I pulled him by the coller excusing ourselves from the girl as she gave him a puzzled look.

"You can't leave me in the middle of nowhere like that!" I yelled at him, once we reached the corner.

"Ow..ow.. calm down there tiger, I did not leave you in the middle of nowhere. I just thought that you had some catching up to do." He said giving me his oh so famous look. "Anyways he is seeing a girl at his work place and rumor says that she studies in our school."

I felt a pang of something that I haven't felt for a long time now.
"Good for him." I said in a blank tone. "How do you know about it?" I asked, trying to be as less nosey. I said trying.

"I've got contacts..." He mused. "Why? Does the matter concern you too much."

I just held myself back from punching his pretty face.

And then it clicked me. "You knew he was back, didn't you?" I seethed out in anger.

"Who?"

"You know exactly about whom I am asking about."

"Ohh... Alex came back last weekend and man what a 'welcome back' party it was! Girls... drinks... and what not..."

"You are unbelievable." I said looking at my pathetic excuse of a friend and pushed him away as our teacher, Mrs. Smith entered the class.

Biology was one of the very few subjects I actually liked. But right now, I regretted taking up Bio this semester.

"Excuse me ma'am?" I heard the same old voice coming from the door and I automatically snapped my head towards it.

Mrs. Smith glanced at the entrance as everybody followed her gesture. "Mr. Woods, way to go on the first day of your class." She said pointing at her watch.

"Sorry Mrs. Smith, I had to go through some procedures in the Principal's office. I assure you that this will not continue." He said with such a confidence that if I didn't know any better, I would have believed it like everyone else in the class.
