When we got to the hospital, we got out and went up to the room. Once we got to the room, I opened the door. I looked around the room. Everybody was there.Even my sister, I thought she would be in the hospital. Well our family are so strong so I can understand that but still I tore her up. She wrapped up in bandage though. I realize my sisters boyfriend was here to. I bust out laughing at that one. Everybody stared at me.

" Hey princess " my dad said trying to take away the awkwardness.

" Hey so whats the deal " I asked

" Her heart is having problems and the doctor just came and said they might have to do surgery " my sister spoke up.

I turned and looked her way. I cleared my face of any emotions. I just looked at her. I thought for a minute. I then said to myself 'im gone kill em with kindness '. I looked at her and smile.

" Hey whats up, Thanks for informing me " I said with a smile

She nodded her head. I looked over to her boyfriend. I wanted to laugh so bad but I hid it. I nodded my head towards him. He nodded back.

We sat in the room. Soon the doctor came in and took my mother away. We was told we had to wait in the waiting room. We all left the room and went into the waiting room. Everybody was so quiet. It was so weird. We were just looking at each other.

" Baby im going to get us something to eat " Charles said

" Where you going " I asked

" Burger King " he said

" Okay just dont bring it in here " I said

" Why " he asked giving me a weird look

" Because the smell of the hospital, hospitals freak me out and it got to many germs " I said

He shook his head and got up. He leaned in and gave me a kiss on the lips. He then left out of the room. Everybody was just staring at me. I was so close to blurting out something real rude to them but I held my tongue. 

An hour later, Charles called me. He told me he was downstairs. I got up and walked out of the hospital. I went into the garage thingy. Charles was just pulling up to it. I got into the car. Charles went to go park. Once he was parked he gave me my food. As we were eating Charels decides to talk.

" So have you feeling " he asked

" What u mean " I asked

" About your mom having surgery " he asked

" I mean its life " I said

He didnt say anything after that. My mom and I were real close before I moved. We use to do everything together. My sisters and I use to go to parties and stuff. We use to have each others backs. Now we going against each other. Its sad.

I finshed up my breakfast. Once we both was done, we got out. We headed back into the hospital. When we reached the waiting room, we went in. I sat down and Charles followed suit. Soon as we sat down, the doctor came in.

" Bad news and Good news " he said

" Go on " my sister said

" During surgery we lost her -" (gco).
