8: Lie down with me

Chapter 8

I woke up at 11am the next day. I greeted the boys with a smile and went in the bathroom with my clothes. I was done after 20 minutes. I came out of the bathroom wearing my white tank top with a black cross on it with turquoise shorts. I wore my hair in a high bun.

“Did you sleep well?” Ashton asked me with a smile.

“Yes, perfectly!” I answered, merrily, heading to the door.

“Where are you going?” he asked.

“I’ll ask my aunt if Alexa can come to the San Francisco show!” I answered, smiling.

“How long will she stay and where will she sleep?” Calum asked.

“Probably 3 days and I’ll sleep on the couch so she can sleep in my bed. See ya later boys!” I answered heading outside to find my aunt.

She was talking to the other managers when I knocked at the door. They all looked a little bit worried when I came in.

“What’s wrong?” I asked, concerned.

“Nothing sweetie, can you just send us One Direction and, after that, go back to the tour bus and stay inside.” She said, anxious.

I never saw my aunt being so nervous. There was something in her voice that made me afraid of what was going on. I went straight to the One Direction’s bus. I told them they needed to go see their managers, and to be careful because I felt something was wrong. After that, I headed back to the 5SOS bus. I was breathless when I came in. I didn’t realize I ran all the way back to the bus. The boys looked at me, confused.

“I don’t know what’s going on but something is definitely wrong.” I said, trying to catch my breath.

I sat on the couch next to Ashton. He rubbed my back to help me breathe. After a few deep breaths, I explained to them what happened. We all wondered what was going on so Luke decided to call Niall. He talked a little bit with him before he put him on speaker.

“Listen guys, you have nothing to worry about.” Niall said, not convinced at all.

“I don’t believe you Niall, let me talk to my aunt.” I said.

“You’re on speaker.” Niall replied.

“Ok listen guys, One Direction received dead threats. Some people are saying that they’ll die in tonight’s show so we will cancel the show and we’ll leave for San Francisco in one hour. Until then, remain in the bus.” My aunt said.

We were all speechless when we hung up.

“Shit. Does that happen often?” I said, shocked.

“It never happened, until now.” Michael said.

We remained silent for at least 10 minutes after what I got up and I went to get my cell to text Alexa.

Change of plans babe, we are heading to San Francisco today. The show is cancelled because of dead threats. I’ll try to ask my aunt if you can come anyway. Xx

She answered 5 minutes later.

Oh shit, I hope everything is alright! Don’t worry if I can’t come, I’ll understand. Xx

I went in my bed and I called my aunt. I was surprised when she told me that Alexa could come. She accepted, but wanted her to head back home right after the San Francisco show because we would leave for Los Angeles. I didn’t mind because since we cancelled tonight’s show we would have one more day to spend together, plus the two days off the boys had before the San Francisco show. I texted Alexa: Hey, you can come babe! But you’ll have to leave right after the show..:/

She answered instantly: Yay! I’ll take the next flight and I’ll meet you at the San Francisco Airport tomorrow night! Xx

I answered: Can’t wait to see you sweetie! :)xx

“Hey Ashley, wanna watch The Conjuring with us?” I heard Calum, from the couch.

“Yeah sure. I’m coming.” I said, before putting my pyjamas on.

The boys all decided to put on their pyjamas before we started the movie. I ended up sitting between Luke and Ashton. I have to say that this shit was really scary. We were all squeezed together. I ended up, more than once, hiding my face in Ashton’s neck. He smiled every time, saying I was just a coward. When the movie was over we all went in our beds. I was really scared when Luke turned off the light.

“TURN ON THE LIGHT RIGHT NOW LUKE! I AM SERIOUS!” I screamed.

“Do it yourself” he said, laughing at me.

I was freaking scared so I hid my head under the covers. I screamed when someone came to lie next to me.

“Shhh. It’s just me.” The sweet voice of Ashton said.

“What are you doing?” I whispered.

“Just wanna keep you company” He said.

I'm sure I managed to fall asleep because Ashton was next to me. When I woke up, my head was lying on his chest. Ashton was already awake, so we smiled at each other. That’s when we were blinded by a flash.

A/N Sorry if all this "death threats" thing sucks but I wanted to cancell the show so Alexa would spend more time with Ashley. I apologize :( Hope you like it anyway. :)
