9: An article

Chapter 9

“You guys, are so cute together!” Luke said, behind his cellphone.

“This time I don’t want any picture to be posted on twitter or any other social media!” I warned him.

“Don’t worry, we will post it online when you two will be official.” Michael said, smiling.

“You guys are jerks! He just stayed with me so I could sleep!” I retorted.

“If you say so.” Calum shouted from the kitchen.

I looked at Ashton and thanked him for being here when I was freaking out. I took my shirt with a smiley face on it with some yellow denim short to match the smiley face. I showered and let my hair down. Then we all decided to do some shopping. On our way to the mall we met some lovely fans. At first, that’s what I thought but some of them started to yell at me. Asking me to 'get the fuck out of here'.

“Guys, I think I’ll just go to Starbucks, meet me there when you’re done.” I said.

Ashton held me by the hand and said: “Listen guys, you better get used to her because she’ll stay with me hrmm… with us for a very long time.”

I looked at him truly grateful of what he said. We went to Starbucks while the others boys finished to take some pictures with the fans. I felt bad that he dumped his fans for me, but I really had the impression that I meant something to him and it made me feel special.

“You know, I think I should stop hanging out with you.” I said, even if I didn’t mean it.

“Ashley, there’s no way my fans will stop us from being together. I’m the only one who decides who I want to hang out with.” He said, comforting me.

I smiled at him. This guy always finds the words to make me feel better. We talked about everything and nothing. He made me laugh, a lot. After about 2 hours, we figured out that the boys forgot about us and decided to go back to the bus. On our way back to the bus, I started to sing Little Things by One Direction.

I was surprised when Ashton continued to sing.

“I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth

“Wow Ash, I didn’t knew you were a good singer.” I told him, impressed.

He smiled at me and said: “There’s a lot of things you don’t know about me.” As he looked right through my eyes.

Ashton’s P.O.V

I wanted to kiss her at this moment, but it was too soon. What if she didn’t felt the same way? She was an amazing person and I didn’t want to ruin our friendship with a stupid kiss. I smiled at her and we returned to the bus. We had dinner with the other boys and then we watched another movie. This time, we went for something a little bit funnier, Hangover. Ashley practically fell asleep on my shoulder so I closed my eyes and laid my head on hers.

“Hey Ashley! Wake up.” I heard from a girl I didn’t know.

Ashley managed to wake up and she stood up when she saw who it was.

Ashley’s P.O.V

“ALEXAA!!” I screamed, hugging her. “I’m so sorry I wasn’t at the airport when you landed.”

“I forgive you. Now that I know you were sleeping with your boy.” She winked at me.

I saw the boys laughing behind her. I didn’t find it necessary to comment their silly laughs. By cons, I asked them why they didn’t wake me up.

“Your aunt came to see if you were ready to go but when she saw you and Ash, she decided to go alone. She said you two were too cute to wake up.” Luke said, proud.

“Hey, by the way, did you saw the article about you and Ashton?” Michael said to me.

“WHAT?” Ashton and I said together.

-ASHTON IRWIN STOOD UP FOR HIS GIRL?-

Lately, a girl has been seen hanging with the boys of 5 Seconds of Summer. Particularly with their drummer, Ashton Irwin. While they were near a mall in San Francisco, some fans started to insult her. It wasn’t long before Ashton shut them up saying and I quote:” Listen guys, you better get used to her because she’ll stay with me uh… with us for a very long time.” We can see there that they’re not dating- not yet.
