18: It's a love real and true

Chapter  18

Ashley’s P.O.V

We fell asleep at almost 2:30am so we just woke up at midday. We went downstairs and saw that nobody was there. I started to cook some eggs and bacon while Ashton was setting the table and preparing some coffee. We sat down at the table and started eating our delicious breakfast-lunch.

“That’s a good team work. We should do that more often!” Ashton said, taking a sip of coffee.

“That’s right we make a perfect duo!” I answered, my mouth full of  heaven’s food.

We savored our food peacefully when we heard someone entering the house, yelling.

“Alexa is on her way here people!” Michael  said, sitting at the table.

“Really?” I said, excited.

“Yes! She’ll land around 1am.” Michael replied, smiling.

“Great.” Ashton said, smiling to Michael who was trying to hide his excitement.

“I should probably go inform my aunt!” I said, grabbing my plate to put it in the dishwasher.

“It’s all sorted out! I just went to see your aunt and she’s okay with that!” Michael said.

“Well, thanks! But I should probably go see her since I didn’t yesterday. I’m here to help her and I don’t feel like I help her at all.” I said, laughing.

“She’s staying next door with the rest of the crew.” Michael informed me.

“Thanks!” I said before going upstairs to get dressed.

I decided to wear my “Dream While You’re Awake” tank top with studded shorts and my converse. I brushed my teeth, put my hair in a high pony tail and took my sunglasses before going downstairs. I heard Ashton talking with Michael about Alexa at the kitchen table.

“I don’t know, but we sure will have to talk about some things before we get back like we were before.” Michael said.

“Don’t worry mate, I’m sure everything will be alright.” Ashton reassured him.

“Yeah, you don’t know that. I mean, everything is going well with Ashley.” Michael replied.

“We had our problems too.” Ashton said.

“Yes, we did and now everything is all sorted out and I’m sure it will be the same with Alexa!” I smiled, entering in the kitchen.

I hugged Ashton from behind and kissed the top of his head before taking an apple in the bowl on the table.

“So what are you guys doing this afternoon?” I asked them.

“Well, we’re going to hang out around. We’re supposed to meet Luke and Cal, you’re coming?” Michael said.

“I can’t, I should go see my aunt.” I replied.

“We’ll wait for you, babe” Ashton told me.

“I’d love to but I will give her my afternoon, she probably could use a little help.” I said, giving him a quick kiss on the lips.

“Fine. I love you.” Ashton pouted.

“Love you too.” I answered as I bite into my apple, heading outside.

I was on my way to see my aunt when I saw a bunch of girls in front of 1D’s house. I quickly sent a text to Harry since he gave me his number when we went out for lunch.
