The First Week

Yo, weird bored people reading my journal! :P I'm gonna talk about myself getting used to the vampire way, like the first week or so after being turned.
And yeah, I mentioned that I didn't remember anything? Yeah. It's called 'post-mortum amnesia'. It's weird :P Ttyl~

I woke up to silence and darkness.
My mouth hurt and I felt... weird.
It took me a moment to remember what had happened, although I'd hoped it was just a dream.
I quietly pushed the lid open and got up, cracking my back and neck and stretching before realizing it was bright out and the vampires were all up front running their business.
Before going to talk to them, I looked at myself in the mirror. I had all sharp teeth-- err, fangs-- and I was pale, my black hair contrasting the newly pale skin.
"Um, hi."
They all smiled at me and said good morning before Ned led me to a room back by the coffin area. I smelled the iron immediately and almost puked from the intensity of the smell.
"Haha, you'll get used to it!" He grinned and opened the door handing me a bag from inside.
The crimson liquid sloshed lazily in the bag and I felt nauseous again.
"I have to-to drink this? Seriously?"
He shrugged.
"Only if you want to not die. Again."
He laughed as he headed back to the front and left me with the bag. I simply stared before opening it and smelling it.
The smell was a bit appetizing now, I suppose because my stomach was empty and I realized my 'life' depended on it.
I dipped a finger in.
It was... weird. It was thick and wet but other than that, not that bad.
I slowly lifted the finger to my mouth and licked the blood off.
"Mmm, sexy~ Do that again and I'll spank you~"
I spun around and Vic was smiling seductively.
"Uhm, h-hi, I'm-"
She shushed me with a finger to my lips.
"Teddy. I know. But I think I'll call you... My Plaything."
I blushed and gaped, not sure how to respond. She walked in a circle around me, checking me out.
"Ollie says you like me?"
I kinda nodded but also gulped at the same time. She dipped a finger into the blood and held it in front of my lips.
"Drink up."
Just as I almost had the courage to do so, Ollie burst in.
"Vic! Stop messing with Shorty McMidget."
I pouted and quietly sipped on blood as they argued.
Man, they're great brother and sister...
Vic spun around and laughed at me.
"You think...? No, honey. We're adopted family. Like you, you're one of us now, whether you marry-" she winked "-or just want to be a child or sibling."
Ollie saw the wink and rolled his eyes.
"Sorry, Newbie, she's a little flirtatious but trust me, she isn't for you."
Vic pouted.
"But Ollieeeeee, I wanna play with her~"
Ollie facepalmed and sighed.
"Look, let the kid figure out her place here first and maybe, if she is okay with it, you can... 'play' er whatever."
He left the room and Vic turned to me again, lust in her eyes.
"See ya around, Pet. Got to go bleed some people~"
I stood in awe and finished the blood, wiping my mouth and feeling surprisingly satisfied. The iron taste still resided in my mouth but it wasn't unpleasant. It was like when you put your necklace in your mouth and it tastes kinda good-metallic-y.
I went back to the front of the mortuary and Charlie and Ollie showed me how to run the store front. After that, they took me with them to hunt for humans.
"Now, before we go out-" Ollie loaded my arms full of stuff. "-we have to be ready."
He took a little baseball cap and sunscreen from the stuff I held and gave them to Charlie before taking a cowboy hat and some sunscreen for himself. I took the cute sunhat and some sunscreen and they handed me some clothes- long sleeves and pants and boots.
"We get burnt easy. That's why vampires don't like the sun." He pulled some garlic from his pocket.
"And, we actually love garlic." He took a clove and smashed it, putting it in his mouth and grinning.
Gulping, I followed them outside.
"So, how do we hunt people?"
They smiled at me and Ollie beckoned to Charlie. Charlie took my hand and led me to a shady part of town.
"We look for the less nice people, like pol'ticians and rich old butts, or maybe a crim'nal or creep."
Ollie smiled and ruffled Charlie's hair.
"Basically, we stalk them for a while and eventually choose a few. When we take blood, we never drain them but we occasionally take the human to the police anonymously."
He pointed to a man pickpocketing.
"He's my next target. Charlie here is a little young to hunt but he helps me pick out the people."
Charlie giggles and hands me a small shard of glass.
"We mark 'em with a little scratch behind their ear so another vampire doesn't take 'em. You mark them vertically behind their left ear."
I stared at the glass.
"...won't they notice?"
Ollie and Charlie laughed.
"No, we're super fast and our sight and hearing is better than humans. Yours will develop soon. Now, choose a target and I'll mark them. Then, tonight, I want you to help me take down the thief down there."
I nodded and picked out a woman mistreating her children and Ollie glared at her before disappearing and then reappearing.
"Wh-wh...how?"
He grinned, fangs shinning. "Super speed."
--
That night, after we all sat down to nice 'blood soup'-- blood with spices added and heated in a pot with garlic bread-- Ollie and I headed out to get the thief only to run into Vic.
"Oh, my Toy. Didn't expect to see you here~"
I blushed and looked down at my feet as Ollie dragged her along.
"You might as well help show Newbie what to do."
Vic winked and grabbed my ass as she passed and I squeaked. Ollie raised an eyebrow but I kept walking. When we found the target, Ollie handed me a bag.
"The gist is: puncture, squeeze, bag."
Vic took a bag in one hand and my waist in the other and we zoomed up right behind him. I managed to not scream in surprise at the zipping speed but Vic whispered, "Bite him with your fangs and you'll knock him out."
I nodded but couldn't do it.
Vic sighed and nodded, dashing and sinking her fangs into the thief's neck.
He crumpled to the ground and Vic beckoned for me. I held the bag under his neck as Vic gently squeezed some blood out. There was enough there for another meal for at least three people.
"Good job. We'll just have to practice on animals."
This time she zoomed me back to Ollie and then zoomed away, taking the thief to the jail before coming back and walking home with us.
When we were almost home, I saw a deer and Vic told me to get it.
Although I was scared, my instincts kicked in and I was able to take it down. She told me to suck some blood, that it wasn't worth taking home, and right after I did, I passed out.
--
I woke up the next morning and Vic was holding a wet washcloth to my forehead.
"Oops, I guess we didn't tell you, you might be a bit narcoleptic at first. But you did good."
I smiled and blushed, noticing she was wearing a bikini.
"Are-are we swimming?"
She blinked before bursting into laughter.
"No, I just don't like clothes."
I blushed and laughed a little before she kissed my forehead and walked away.
Damn, I love to watch her walk away...

Soooo that's all for right now, but I'll be back after I get a snack ;) Bye~
