Sooo... this is kind of a weird chapter, but just stick with it, 'kay? It's important to me and you might enjoy it. So... yeah. Bye~ °w°
Vic shook me violently and I woke up, trying to tell her to stop but finding my voice gone. She beckoned to her own throat and crossed her arms.
She helped me up and we woke the others.
Ollie looked at us and laughed.
"Nice job, guys."
I looked to Vic in confusion, wondering why Ollie could speak. She rolled her eyes and pointed to her crotch.
No way..
She nodded at my wide eyes and pointed at my own crotch.
Vampire periods equal no voice?!
Ollie was still cracking up over our dilemma while he got up and handed us each a small bottle of a thick, multicolored liquid.
What is this goop?
"It's a potion, to restore your voice. Basically, it's like a painkiller plus hormones."
I stared at him and he smiled.
"Vampires can communicate through telepathy.
I looked to Vic and she shrugged and threw it back like a shot.
Shots... Was I drunk when I was turned?
I did the same as Vic and cringed at the slimy bitter solution. It crawled down my throat and suddenly Vic patted my back. Hard.
"Ow, what-" I smiled. "Ollie, what was in that?"
He blushed a bit and looked away. "It's uh, my secret recipe."
Vic ruffled his hair and turned to me.
"So, babe, wanna go... stalk people?"
Oh yeah, I forgot: she calls me babe now.
"Um, s-sure."
I followed her outside and once we were a little further from the house/mortuary, she took my hand and stared at me. I began to blush.
"Aww, I love making you blush~"
I cleared my throat and pulled my hand away but she pulled me into an embrace.
"Listen, Teddy. I love you, and I'm not sure if it's like a sister or like a girlfriend, so I don't want to... try anything yet, but don't go getting a girl or boyfriend, okay? I wanna... be your first if I like you like that."
She released me and I was frozen, my face a darker red than blood and my emotions going crazy. She smiled at me, her cheeks turning slightly pink.
"Well, just... wait a little bit, okay?"
From the way she bit her lip and turned away, I was almost certain she loved me in a non-platonic way.
--
She went off after some creepy dude and left me to catch my prey Ollie had marked for me the previous week.
The guy moved through the dark streets, looking to and fro as if making sure no one was stalking him.
If only he knew I was on the roof above.
I leapt down and sped up about ten feet behind him as he went into an apartment. I watched through the window as he grabbed a young woman's wrists and pushed her against the wall. She began to scream and he kissed her.
Oh HELL NO.
I used my speed and strength to break through the door and I shoved the man to the floor, punched him, and he went unconscious. The woman stood stunned before grabbing me and kissing me.
Well then.
--
After a moment of kissing, she said one sentence that was poorly timed. I just happened to be extremely hungry and my senses were on edge when she said, "Bite me~"
Well, she asked.
Just as I went for her neck, Vic burst in and pulled me away from her.
"Teddy, why... what are you doing with this girl?"
The girl I'd saved was now extremely confused. I just knocked her out and picked up my prey, draining him before beginning the walk home with Vic.
"Explain," she demanded, hurt and angry.
"You-you said it yourself that you don't know how you feel. A-and she came on to me."
Vic stopped and spun to face me, her eyes to the brim with tears.
"You dumbass! Of course I know how I feel! I just don't want to scare you off! I can be... bossy, demanding, too straightforward..." she cleared her throat. "...and dishonest."
I stared as she came just an inch from my face.
"Just tell me: do you love me?"
I was speechless.
Suddenly, I wasn't sure.
I know nothing about her. And she's crazy! She prolly has other 'playthings'.
But you feel for her.
I was about to say something when she sniffled and zoomed home.
I facepalmed and sighed.
Dammit, Teddy. You're such a jerk.
I slumped home and everyone was staring at me. I put the blood away and went to my coffin, hungry but too disappointed in myself to feel I deserved relinquishment.

A Different Type of Girl.
Vampire"Ooh, bite me~" Well, she asked. I'm a different kind of girl-- I don't moon over the popular jock guys or the nerds, not even the heartthrobs. I stalk my prey. My beautiful females, filled with crimson sweetness. Yeah. I'm a gay vampire.
