Chapter Three: Reactions

The guild doors opened up, revealing a short dark blue hair script mage, Levy McGarden.

She entered the guild with a friendly smile, later being followed by both Jet and Droy. Her admirers who both loved and encouraged her.

Gajeel Redfox, who possessed long dark hair and bloody red orbs walked in afterwards with his exceed, Panther lily. The two walked in with serious expressions.

"What a stupid mission" Gajeel grumbled, rubbing his left wrist and Lily nodded in agreement. "But the reward was great though" the exceed commented and the two faced each other and chuckled. "Gihee"

Natsu rolled his eyes as the two walked their way towards one of the tables.

After them were a few mages who entered the guild doors but Natsu didn't spot a single Lucy in sight.

Natsu didn't sniffed out a Lucy either. Her sweet strawberry aroma that reflected her sweet personality.

She probably wasn't coming today. How would she after this morning? Natsu sighed. He still feared she'd break their friendship apart because of their drunken behavior last night.

Oh why did he accepted that drink request from Lucy last night. He knew she were drunk but still had to be the dense one to accept. He should've just carried her drunk state home last night.

Not get drunk and..

Interfered with her..

Someone cleared their throat and Natsu turned to the requip mage, Erza Scarlet. Last name being scarlet by her long radiant red strands of hair that flowed passed her armoured shoulders and stopped by her lower back.

She was a beauty but shouldn't be messed with. She can knock a person out by one punch that can send you flying.

"Is there something wrong Natsu?" Erza asked. He was seated by a table with his team discussing what their other mission should be.

"Uh yeah-I mean no no" he shook his head and Erza raised her brow at his unusual behaviour.

She observed his sweaty forehead then his eyes. It held guilt in them. "You're lying and where is Lucy?" the red hair questioned and Natsu gulped.

"Uh.. she.. she uh-"

"Lucy's at home still resting and excuse Natsu here, Mira may have gave him too many hot sauce that his belly's on fire" Gray explained and Natsu eyed him.

"Natsu never has a problem with hot sauce Gray. That is ironic because he is a dragon slayer" Erza said.

"Oh it wasn't his normal hot sauce, it was one of Mira's special ones. His body isn't quite used to it" Gray said and Natsu raised his brow at him. Gray just smirked and raised his mug to his lips.

Erza turned to Natsu and asked "Is that true?"

Natsu turned to her and nodded "Yeah.. I learned my lesson" he pat his stomach for emphasis.

They watched as Erza dug in a bag and pulled out a mini bottle filled with a pink subtance. "Here" Natsu took it from her and eyed it weirdly "What's this?"

"A potion" Erza responded "it helps with constipation"

Gray choked on his drink and Juvia who sat besides him held a worried face for her poor comrade. Natsu opened his mouth.

"Ah..no thanks" he slid the bottle towards Erza. "I'm fine now, really" he said over Gray's laughter.

Lucy rounded another corner, looking around to see if coast was clear.

When there were no sight of Natsu, she proceeded. She was stupid, why did she had to go to the guild today? It could of been tomorrow but she couldn't stand the fact of her sleeping with her best friend.
