Chapter Seven: Mission (Part Two)

"Grr.." Gray growled, stomping down the stairs with a filled garbage bag. He needed a bath. Dust and grime were attached to his sweaty face, his sweat causing his clothes to cling to his body. Swept away spider webs laid in his hair as he made his way towards the back of the house.

He walked towards the back of the mansion, emptying the trash in the bin in anger. He hated cleaning. He couldn't wait till this mission was finished.

The man observed Gray from the upstairs window. A perverted grin made way on his face as he gave his chapped lips a swipe of his tongue.

"Yes ice wizard..keep working that.." he whispered to himself.

"Sir?" the old man jumped in surprise before turning to Erza. He cleared his throat "Uh..yes ma'am?"

Erza showed him a smile before showing off the hairy dark tarantula that laid on the palm of her hand.

The man shrieked at the sight of it.

"Is this a pet of yours. I've caught it crawling around in one of the guest rooms walls. I assumed it belonged to you"

"No it doesn't get that thing out of here!" the man backed away in the corner of his room, holding his chest as if his heart was about to pop out.

Erza looked at him then back at the spider before shrugging and walking away.

Erza entered a room. She placed the spider in a bowl before closing it with the lid. She didn't get why people were so afraid of spiders. She found them harmless and cute.

"You stay in that bowl until I decide what to do with you'' she said before picking up a binoculars. She walked towards the window and placed the binoculars on.

She observed both Natsu and Lucy in the garden.

Earlier on she told them that the client wanted his apples picked from in the garden. She told Natsu to tag along because Lucy would need help picking the apples off the trees.

Erza hummed, watching as Natsu secretly stuffed an apple in his mouth when Lucy turned her back to him.

Erza couldn't help but feel suspicious about Natsu and Lucy.

When she was entering the study room she over heard half of their conservation together.

Something along the lines of beinng drunk and forgetting whatever happened. She couldn't quite put a finger on it yet.

"Natsu no eating the apples. Do you want us getting scold again from Erza" Lucy scorned, grabbing an apple from Natsu's hand before he took a bite out of it.

"But Lucy.. I'm hungry.." Natsu groaned like a child. "No Natsu" she scorned again before placing the apple in a half filled basket. "This is for the client. We'll buy apples later" she said.

Hearing flapping of wings both her and Natsu turned to the exceed flying their way. "Here take this one" Lucy passed an apple-filled basket onto Happy.

"Why do I have the hardest part of the job?" the cat groaned. "Come on Happy, think of this as a little work out" Natsu smiled, picking another apple from the tree. "Huh?" Happy asked.

Natsu quickly stuffed the fruit in his mouth before Lucy saw. "Yeah and I bet Carla would be really happy with the results of your little work out" Lucy teased, making Happy's eyes widen.

The cat took hold of the basket and flew away at a rapid speed with happy eyes.

"He sure loves Carla" Lucy commented and turned to see Natsu with four apples stuffed in his mouth. "Uh.."
