Chapter Five
A Month Later
At The Airport
“Do you see her?” asked Chase.
“For the tenth time, Chase, NO WE DON’T SEE HER!” exclaimed Connor.
“Well sorry if I miss her…” he mumbled quietly.
“Guys maybe we won’t even recognize her. We haven’t seen her for six years. Six years can change someone.” said Xander.
“Psh come on it’s Calypso were talking about. Just look for basketball shorts, a band t-shirt, her favorite hat, and converse and you’ll find her.” laughed Zack.
“Boys they just landed! Mrs. Richard’s just called and told me they’re here! Just look around they should be here any minute now,” exclaimed Mrs. Iverson, “oh look there they are!”
Right after she said that all four boys turned around to hug there best friend but what they saw made all four of them stop dead in their tracks with wide eyes and their jaws grazing the floor. What they saw was not the best friend they remembered six years ago. Her blue eyes shined just as clear as the Mediterranean Sea as they lit up with mischief while she gazed at the four boys underneath her long eyelashes. Her hair was perfectly straight as they flowed past her shoulders and swayed slightly as she walked towards them, the color of her hair being as dark as midnight. Her skin was flawless from every angle and her cheeks had a tinge of pink as she drew near the group. She smiled widely upon arrival and even her smile lit up the whole airport because of her perfectly straight teeth and her bright smile. There were even two slight dimples on the side of her smile, too. As she came closer her whole body came into view. Her perfectly tan legs went for miles and stopped at her short white denim shorts. Her red v-neck shirt was topped with a tight black leather jacket and accented with the lucky guitar pick necklace-which was a present from the boys on her tenth birthday. She even had her sunglasses tucked into the ‘v’ of her shirt. The last things on her feet were a pair of black and white converse. Because of the tight clothing you could see her whole figure, and she had the curves in all the right places. She could even make a supermodel green with envy. The difference with her though was that she was all natural. There wasn’t a trace of makeup on her face. Not even lip gloss on her plump full red lips. It was also obvious that she didn’t have any plastic surgery either. She was dressed simple yet she seemed to catch every teenage male’s attention within a three-mile radius as she strolled to him. Who was this girl? If this was the guy’s best friend they sure didn’t recognize her. Once she got close enough she exchanged greetings with Mrs. Iverson first and you could hear her strong british accent in her voice. What confused them the most was the feeling they got when they were around her. Her look just screamed bad girl, troublemaker, dangerous, and mysterious. A far cry from the little innocent, prankster, tomboy, they knew years ago. After finally catching up with all the parents she finally turned to the boys with a smirk on her face while the boys were still wide-eyed and speechless. Finally after a few more minutes of silent staring Chase mumbled quietly, “Well at least Zack got the converse right…”
