Ambush

"Is it true?"

Theo asked sitting on his couch staring at the floor. Corey and Josh walked over to him and looked at each other. "Well?!" Theo said raising his voice making Erica and Tracy jump in their seats. "Yes. It's true. She's alive, and she's looking for you." Theo raised his head and looked at them, studying them. He stood up and walked in front of them staring at them for a moment.
"There's something else. What is it?"
"Apparently Amara is being controlled by something called the hybrid and she doesn't remember you or Scott's pack."
"...What about Damion, does she remember him?"
"No. All she remembers is her pack, nothing else."
Theo nodded then yelled out in anger and threw a chair against the wall. Everyone jumped back and watched what was unfolding. Theo stopped throwing stuff and was panting, he started calming down. He quickly walked past them and grabbed his black, leather jacket. "Erica, Tracy, You're up. Let's go." The girls followed him out the house wondering where they are going.

"Theo where are we going?"
"To visit an old friend."
It was midnight and they got to the school and Theo looked around making sure there was no one there. "Okay, Erica do you know how to catch a scent?" "No not really. I mean, I can tell what kind of perfume someone has on, but that's pretty much it." He sighed then rolled his eyes. "Here this was hers" He tossed her Amara's jacket from the backseat, get the scent and focus on that scent, ignore everything else and focus." Erica breathed in the scent she got off the jacket and her eyes turned their golden yellow color. "Got her." They got back in the truck and Erica guided them ever the scent was leading them, after awhile they were on a long, empty road. "Stop." Erica said and Theo stopped the truck. "I lost the scent, it's gone." Just then something landed on the roof of the truck making Erica scream. They looked out the windows and saw nothing at first. In the distance, shadows were coming out the fog. Three figures started walking out the fog towards the truck, their focused to see Amara, Jay, and Cara with their eyes glowing. Theo, Erica and Tracy got out the truck to see Jeremy jumping down from the roof with his emerald green glowing eyes smiling at them. "Sup."
