At the cemetery Amara was standing in front of her grave stone it read:
In loving memory of Amara Blackwell
Daughter, Sister, Friend
Her foster mother put it up only a couple of days ago, she balled up her fist tightly and screamed as she started punching, and smashing the headstone to pieces. Her mother never loved her, she was only in it for the money. She was no ones sister, daughter, or friend. She it was her against the world, and no one was going to tell her any different. "You know that's against the law right?" A male voice spoke from behind her, she quickly turned around. When she realized who it was the innocence appeared in her eyes. Amara. The real Amara. It was Raphael, her father. He smiled kindly and started walking up to her.
"Hi, Amara."
"Dad?"
He nodded, Amara ran up to him and hugged him tightly not wanting to let go. "Amara I'm here to help you." Amara looked at him with hope in her eyes that maybe he can fix her.
"You need to come back to us."
"I'm not strong enough."
"Don't let anyone tell you that you are not strong enough. You have to fight."
Just then Amara grabbed his throat lifting him up in the air. "I'm sorry, Amara can't come to the phone right now, but I'll be sure to deliver to message." She then threw him against another headstone breaking it. She walked over to him and gripped his shirt, she took out a blade with the other hand holding it against his throat.
"I should kill you."
"Then do it, show me that my baby girl isn't fighting anymore, show me that you really did lose your humanity." Amara pressed on his neck with the blade, she wanted to kill him, but she couldn't no matter how hard she tried she couldn't bring herself to do it. She moved the blade away and turned around walking away. "This doesn't mean anything Raphael. It's just my day off from killing people." Amara said before she vanished into thin air.
Raphael walked into the house sore, bruised and bloody. His sons and Melissa ran up to him and pulled a chair out for him. "Dad what happened?" Scott asked frantically. Raphael sighed and shook his head. "I saw Amara, she's still in there. She had a knife at my throat; it was like she was fighting herself not to kill me."
"This means we have a chance to get her back." Scott said with hope in his eyes. "Come on, there might be someone who can help us." Damion said.
They arrived at Deaton's office and walked inside to see Stiles there talking to Deaton.
"Oh hello Scott. Didn't know you were coming today.""Yeah well it's a bit of an emergency."
"Is it about Amara? I-I hear things. Is she okay?"
Stiles asked keeping his distance from Scott, Scott just figured Stiles wanted to be alone for awhile, and Stiles thought Scott wanted to be alone for awhile. But they couldn't be more wrong, they need each other, they need both needed their best friend. Ren had walked in meeting them there he wanted to help get Amara back, but he wasn't their friend.
They told Deaton about everything that has happened and as Deaton was listening his was gathering ways to help them in his mind. "Interesting. It sounds like you are dealing with split personality but in a supernatural sense." Everyone looked extremely confused and waited for Deaton to explain a little bit more. "The girl that you are seeing now is in fact Amara but like you said the worst version of herself. The Hybrid. The hybrid is taking over and your Amara is slowly losing her humanity, the only way to get her back is to separate the good, from the bad."
"Okay, how do we do that?"
"It's not that simple you would have to get into her mind and help her detach from her evil counterpart."
"Almost like you did with me." Stiles said remembering the Nogitsune taking over his body. "If she is going through what I went through...I want to help." Scott gave a half smile and nodded. "Thanks." He said to Stiles making him smile. "But she has to have an emotional tether an anchor if you will. Something that she can attach to to help her pull herself out. But there is a catch."
"Which is?" Damion asked waiting for an answer. "If you do succeed in getting her back her and the hybrid will separate and she might lose all of her power." Everyone remained quiet and looked around at each other. They didn't want to lose Amara, but they didn't want her losing one of things most precious to her. "What would Amara do?" Deaton asked directing the question to Damion and Scott. The two boys looked at each other it was like they could tell what the other was thinking. "She would want us to do it anyway." Scott stated. Everyone was in agreement. "Okay, let's get her back." They all started to leave before Deaton called Damion's name. He turned around wondering what other bad news was he going to tell him. "Damion? You know how Amara found you in Colorado?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Find your mother the same way."
"What are you taking about, my mother is dead."
"Is she?"
Deaton asked with a smirk. "You, Scott and Amara possess the ability to find each other telepathically and through each others eyes. Scott, when you first saw Damion in Colorado, you felt a wave of power, am I right?" Scott simply nodded not knowing what to say. "When you three came in contact with each other, your powers were amplified. You all are connected by blood. That is how Amara summoned that wave. Her Naiad part of her was unlocked and summoned the water."
"But how did she turn out like this?"
"When the wave hit her, her powers put her in a cocoon like shield and since her powers felt like their host was being threatened it took over, protecting her, but now that the hybrid side of Amara is unleashed...it doesn't want to go back."
"Then we'll make her go back." Raphael said before leaving, with Scott, Stiles, and Damion following him.
