In the small, fancy hospital own by the Otari family. Heather Rose Mary Capulet laid awaiting for her fate to take it's toll. The doctor's were the best of the best. Kyoya made sure of that.
Everyone that cared about her awaited patiently in the hospital's waiting area. Mr. Otari franticly tapped his fancy dress shoe against the marble floors as he sat with his fist under his chin waiting for his fate to also be decided. He knew that if she died everyone would began to point fingers at him. That he would no longer have his third son at his disposal.
Tamaki had decided in his head that if she were to pass on, he would keep the host club open. But, he reassured himself many times that she was going to be okay. And that even though she would no longer sing, he would be her voice everyday. He would sing her songs, and even write some about her.
Honey wasn't afraid, he knew she would get better... she has to.
Mori paced back and forth in front of the hospital, he kicked a trashcan sending it flying across the parking lot. "this can't be happening!" he screamed as loud as he could. He collapsed to his knee's looking up at the sky as he allowed for the first time ever, tears to flow down his cheeks. "we can't do this without you- I Can't do this without you"
"Mori!" Tamaki yelled running up to him, tears flowing down his cheeks "she's gone"
Swiftly two thugs charged up to Mori, he turned around just as one of them thrust a switch blade into his gut.
Mori fell to the ground clenching over the wound. Not once in Mori's life had anyone ever caught him off guard.
"that's from the Dirksen clan!" they yelled as they ran away.
"Mori!" Tamaki screamed rushing to his side "no no, your not leaving us too!" he yelled "you hear me! Hang on -Hikaru! Karou! Somebody HELP!!"
Mori's whole body throbbed in pain, physically and mentally.
She's gone, Rose is gone.
I don't want to live, I want to die. And be with her.
*Hours later*
Honey sat in the waiting room with weeping Arabella. He allowed her to cry into Usa-chan "don't worry Ara-chan" he muttered sweetly "Rose will come out of surgery, and she'll be okay"
"how am I ever going to tell her that grandma's gone! And Marcus -oh my sweet Marcus- and now... Mori!!" she wept so hard that she began gasping for air. "I know, I miss him too" Honey couldn't help but begin to tear up.
The doctor came out and announced to everyone that the surgery was a success and that they didn't have to remove her vocal cords after all. Everyone couldn't be happy, they just cried even harder.
*the next day at school*
Everyone went back to the host club to wait until Rose was well enough to come back. They went on as if nothing happened.
Only those with excellent social standing, or from filthy rich families are lucky enough to spend their time here at the elegant private school. Ouran Academy. The Ouran Host club is where the schools handsomest boys with way too much time on their hands entertain young ladies who also have way too much time on their hands. Just think of it as Ouran academy's elegant playground for the super rich and beautiful.
What seemed to be a boy walked into the host club who was greeted warmly by the boys.
"this is a host club?!" the boy said franticly with his back against the front doors clenching his book in one hand.
"oh wow, it's a boy" the twins said in unison.
"Hikaru, Karou. I believe this young man is in the same class as you isn't he?" Kyoya asked.
"yeah but he's shy, he doesn't act very social able so we don't know much about him" they replied together
Kyoya smirked "well that wasn't very polite" he then turned back to the boy "welcome to the Ouran Host Club, Mister honor student"
Tamaki butted in "what? You must be Haruhi Fujioka! You're the exceptional honor student we've heard about!"
He looked up shocked "how did you know my name?"
"well, you infamous its not everyday that a commoner gains entrance into our academy" Kyoya answered
"except for Rose" Honey Muttered quietly.
"you must have an adagios nerve to work hard enough to fight your way into this school as an honor student Mr. Fujioka"
"well thank you... I guess"
"your welcome!" Tamaki chimed throwing his arm around him "you're a hero to other poor people, Fujioka. You've shown the world that even a poor person can excel at a private academy"
Haruhi tried scooting away from Tamaki treating him as if he was satin himself.
Everyone was rambling because of how worried they were about Rose, they tried so hard not to show it.
"it must be hard for you to constantly looked down apon by others!"
"I think your taking this 'poor thing' too far" no matter where Haruhi tried to go Tamaki followed
"spurn, neglected, but that doesn't matter now! Long live the poor! We welcome you poor man to our world-"
If only Rose was there she would say "oh please, not this again!"
"of beauty!" he even turned the sparkles on.
But, even the sparkles wasn't winning him over.
"I'm out of here" Haruhi muttered heading for the doors.
"hey!" Honey whined grabbing Haruhi's arm "come back here Haru-chan! You must be like a superhero or something! So cool!"
"I'm not a hero, I'm an honor student... AND WHO YOU CALLING HARU-CHAN?!" he yelled right as the front doors opened.
Everyone gasped "I'm back!"
