the days continued as if nothing had happened. Kyoya had me take on Mori's spot as the first ever female host (that was known to the public of course) I sat with Honey and tried to forget.
but I can't.
"Heather, is everything okay?" one of the girl asked
"your usually never this quiet" another added
I looked up trying to fake a smile "I'm sorry, I was just not paying attention!"
worst lie ever.
"if somethings bothering you why don't you speak to headmaster suoh? he's your dad isn't he?"
"yeah" i huffed "and not a really good one in my opinion" I muttered.
suddenly Haruhi walked into the room carrying a brown paper grocery bag.
"hey, did you get everything on the list little pigglet?" Tamaki asked.
I sighed, why did Tamaki make this girl start working for us? I get that the vase was really expensive but why wouldn't he just let me pay of it when I offered?
did he really want her taking my place so badly?
"is this the kind that's already been ground?" Tamaki asked snapping me out of my daze. "its just instant coffee..." Haruhi huffed.
"its instant?" two girls asked turning their heads to the side.
"oh I've heard of this!" Karou said joining in "its commoners coffee!"
oh brother... here we go...
i stood up walking over to join the girls crowding around "everyone chill, its just coffee-"
"no" Tamaki erupted "I'm going to try it!"
everyone began clapping as if he had just rescued a kitten from a tree. I rolled my eyes turning back to my place on the couch with Honey when someone grabbed my arm pulling me into the hallway.
it was Hikaru
"I'm sorry but, I can't keep pretending like everythings okay now"
i looked away from his eyes
"see, your not okay Rose-"
"I told you not to-"
"get over it Rose! Mori's dead! D-E-A-D"
I slapped him as hard as I could across his scrunched up face.
"I loved him Hikaru!" I yelled "I wanted to graduate, get married, have his children..." I began letting tears fall "I just wanted him!"
I ran down the hall far away from Hikaru and the host club as I could.
he's alive.
I feel it in my heart.
it still beats for him.
I ran through the hallways not crying. I knew where i had to go
I found the temple not far from the school. I walked in receiving bows from many of the workers. they must've known i was eventually going to pay a visit sooner or later.
"come in" a deep mans voice called from inside the temple. I stepped in bowing "I came to visit Takashi's father"
"you are Rose, correct?"
"yes sir"
he paused beaconing for me to sit on the floor in front of him. I sat with my legs folded never making eye contact with him.
I have to play my cards right.
"you want to take my son's classes" he began as if reading my mind "you want to because you feel as if your heart is a wilting rose, wanting to become stronger mentally and physically"
damn, can he read minds or something?
"well, girl or not I promised my son to allow you to be taught everything he was so, you'll start tomorrow"
as I was about to leave i turned my head back "I promise you sir my intentions are good... I want blood shed from the clan that killed Takashi"
