June 3rd, 2017"Keith who the fuck is that in the guest room! Don't tell me you let one of the guys smash a random bitch up in here and leave her ass in the morning !" I woke up to an unfamiliar voice of a woman, she was shouting aggressively at my father outside of my bedroom. I slid out of bed gently rubbing my eye's sighing as I began opening my door slightly.
"That's my fucking daughter watch your mouth and your tone under this roof! Ignorant ass so fucking comfortable, watch yo fucking mouth before you find yourself back in the fucking club scraping up bills!"
"Goodmorning," I say as I clear my throat a little, peeking my head out my room door.
"Rae." "Goodmorning baby girl sorry about waking you up, this is Debra and she was just leaving go get dressed with your crazy ass." He side-eyed her while keeping his attention on my doorway.
"I noticed you came without any suitcases, I'm not gonna question it here's my card go to the mall get out of the house for a little . I have a little business to handle and a few other things." My father handed me his card and extra cash all while eyeing Debra's rude ass.
After shopping around for a few and getting my hair redone. I left the salon feeling like I could snatch up any fine Atlanta man I wanted. I drove back to the house snapping my fingers along to the beat of Cherish's Do it To it. The song was thrown into the throwback Atlanta music playlist playing on the radio. I noticed the front of the house was full of cars, expensive ones at that. I'm guessing this was what my father meant when he mentioned thing's he had to handle. I walked around back where the sound of voice echoed loudly, admiring the scenery and outdoor pool with a fountain attachment. My father even had a stone jacuzzi and a large deck that faced the open pool area. I found him along with his friends playing basketball on the mini court.
Shaking my head I found a seat nearby relaxing till he spotted me. Once he finally realized I was there, he whistled as he used to when I was a little girl it was his way of signaling me to come over. "Aye baby girl come over, I want you to meet everyone !"
One of the guys focused his attention on me, till I made eye contact causing him to look away. Massaging his goatee as he smiled down at his hands.
"Fellas this is my daughter Reign she's finally come back home to her old man Rae this is the team! Zane, Troy, Reese, and Mula but you may remember him as Deandre. " He pointed to the one that was staring at me which made sense now. I smiled and waved at everyone as I began walking back to my bags I placed down. Laughing a little I began remembering how close I was with Dre. Back then he was the first boy I kissed and the first boy to ever show me that dudes weren't shit at a young age. Rolling my eyes at the memories I went to into the house shaking my head.
I organized everything in my closet and ordered a few things online. Had to make my room look more me-ish, once I was finished I found myself laying there just vibing to music.
"Knock, knock."
I sat up focusing my attention as he slowly opened the door. His features stood out in the dim light of the hallway, I admit Dre was fine as hell but I was brought out of dream land remembering how long it had been.
"I just came to let you know the food is ready, you look beautiful by the way Rae glad to see you stayed the same."His voice was deep yet smooth which caused me to question if I wanted to remain sworn enemies or ask if he was seeing anyone.
"Okay I'll be down in a few thanks for letting me know." I slid into my sweats and slippers putting my hair in a loose ponytail. Looking around as I made it to the living room, I realized everyone was gone except myself and Dre.
