I ran up to the nurse and yelled at her
“JADE NEEDS HELP NOW!”
We both ran to her room and saw her holding Ella she was having a seizure.
The nurse said to her
“ she’s having a seizure just hold her gently not tightly and wait for her to stop and then I will take her to the E.R and get some tests done to see what cause it ok. She said in a calm voice.
30 seconds later she stopped having her seizure.
“She seems ok now but I will go get her checked out ok I will be back with news as soon as I can”.
She left with baby Ella.
“Baby Ella will be ok” I said to an upset Jade
“I hope so I can’t lose her as well, can you please pass me Baby Ethan it’s time for his bottle I can see the nurse coming with the bottles”
“You won’t lose her its ok everything will be ok” I said as I passed Ethan over to Jade and the nurse came in.
“Hey where is Ella?” the nurse said in a concerned tone
“Another nurse took her she had a seizure” Jade said
“Omg I’m sure she will be fine ok try not to worry too much, here’s Ethan’s bottle, I just want to check him over to make sure he’s ok ”
The nurse took Ethan and laid him on the bed and checked him head to toe
“Hes fine you can give him his bottle now, would you like me to stay?” she said as she handled him back over to Jade.
“No no it’s fine we can handle it thank you anyway” Jade told the nurse
The nurse said “Ok” and walked out of the room.
As I was about to say something Jade said
“Thank you for staying with me all night Lexi it means allot to me that I know I can count on you”
“It’s ok I know you would do it for me if I was in your situation, Jay what will happen now? You got no family to take you and the twins in and look after you”
“I don’t know. All I know is that mum left me with custody of the twins because she doesn’t know who the father is so it’s me and the twins, I will never leave them and I will make sure they never forget our mum I’m all they got”
“Jade is it ok if I leave for a little bit I need to talk to mum?”
“Ok but don’t be long please, can you please put Ethan back in the cot thank you”
“Text me if you need me and I will come back ok” I said as I put Ethan back into the cot.
“Will do see you soon”
“Cya” I said as I was walking out the door.
As I was walking outside Conner was coming in, he saw me and ran up to give me a hug.
“Hey Conner your back fast”
“Yeah went home had a shower then came back. How’s Jade”
“As good as she can be right now, Baby Ella had a seizure, the nurse took her to make sure she was ok and to find out what cause it.
“Oh god I hope she’s ok, anyway where were you going?”
“I got to go home I need to go to talk to mum, can you please drive me, on our way back I'll drive my car, I love my car,SSC Ultimate Aero it goes so fast 257mph its awesome, Hmm I can’t go fast anymore since I’m pregnant”.
“Yeah I know you love your car it is awesome though, come on lets go”
We got in the car and 20 minutes later we were at home. I went inside and mum came running up and hugged me.
“Hey mum how are you?”
“I’m good sweetheart, can you please come sit down I have something to talk to you about”
“Ok sure mum what is this about?”
“It's about Jade and the twins”
“What about them mum?”
“I want to adopt Jade. She and the twins can move in here. I’m guessing Jade has got custody of the twins since they don't have any family, your father and i would like to help look after them too so Jade can continue to go to school. What do you think about it?”
“OMG MUM THANK YOU ITS THE BEST IDEA. I think it will be what’s best for all of them. I was actually going to ask you the same thing”
“I’m glad you’re happy about this. Ok let’s go tell Jade now”
“Ok cool. OH CRAP, I forgot to tell you baby Ella had a seizure the nurse took her to get checked out I think she’s ok though.”
“That’s not very good, but yes I’m sure she will be fine. Come on lets go ill take my car you take yours oh run up and get a change of clothes you can stay there again tonight if you want.”
"Thanks mum. Give me 10 minutes"
15 minutes later we all left to go tell Jade the good news.
