Fran and her mother move to England for a new start, but what happens when she meets a boy named Harry at University. Will they fall in love, or learn to hate each other?
"We are leaving! Now." I choked back a sob as I grabbed my suitcase from the closet.
"Fran." My mother began to speak.
"No! I can't be here any longer!"
"Fran!" She grabbed me. "You can't run away from your problems."
"Really mom? You wanna talk about running away from problems? Why are we in London huh? Another country? Oh right! Because you ran away from your problems! Don't you even go there" I yelled.
The look on her face broke my heart.
"Why would you throw that in my face"
I opened my mouth to speak but closed it when she raised her hand.
"Go" she said pointing to the door. "If that's what you want"
If I leave now it'll be as if nothing ever happened at all. It's not like I'll ever run into these people back in America.
If I leave now, I can leave all of these people behind.
"I'm going home" I said as I finally packed the last of my things.
I said what I knew would keep her from coming after me.
"I'm going home.. to see dad" it was a lie, but I had too.
The drive to the airport wasn't any easier. I didn't feel any better as I purchased my plane ticket.
As I waited for my flight, my finger traced over Harry's phone number.
I had to tell him. At least tell him that I loved him.
My thoughts ran back to last night and I quickly deleted his contact.
The moment my flight number was called I took a deep breath and slowly stood up.
I had to do this.
I had to get out of here.
