"Oh. Right." Dipper cleared his throat and stared at the statue--erm, grave. His eyes gazed into the rough, grey texture of the stone demon. He's never seen him in this kind of state. But he never said that he didn't like it.
As Ford was trying to find something hidden behind his coat, Dipper's curiosity got the best of him. The lad touched the figure's stone hand and something shone within it. He tried to jerk his hand away but failed to completely remove it from the other. It's like it was filled with Mabel's glue gun. "Um what's happening?" Dipper stuttered due to panic.
"Grunkle Stan, it's me! It's me Grunkle Stan. Grunkle Stan!" Mabel's voice echoed out of nowhere. Making a slight ringing sound to Dipper's ears.
"Look, things aren't gonna stay frozen this way. It's part of growing up. Things change. Summer ends.." Dipper heard his own voice echo as he recalled that sentence he said a few days ago.
"I never even got the chance to tell you that I'm like, in love with you, Wendy." Dipper sighed as he also recalled that. After hearing these first three sentences, he clenched his fist as he felt sadness engulf him. The echoes went on and on.
"This is a huge oppurtunity for me."
"Well it's a horrible oppurtunity for me!" Mabel yelled at Dipper. The boy remembered the fight he had with Mabel."Mabel, wait! I didn't mean it like that! Mabel, come back!" Dipper inhaled a deep breath as he tried to conceal his sorrow. All this sad and negative memories are making him feel a bit weak.
"Mabel, press the red button! Shut it down!" Then there's this memory. Dipper shook his head, he didn't want to recall more, but the memory continued to play uncontrollably.
"No you can't! You gotta trust me!"
"Grunkle Stan, I don't even know if, your my grunkle! I wanna believe you.. but."
"Then listen to me. Remember this morning when I wanted to tell you guys something?""T-minus 20 seconds."
"Ahhhhh!!"
"I wanted to say that you're gonna hear some bad things about me. And some of them are true. But trust me, everything I've worked for, everything I care about. It's all for this family."
"Mabel, what if he's lying!? This thing could destroy the universe, listen to your head!"
"Look into my eyes, Mabel! You really think I'm a bad guy!?"
"He's lying! Shut it down now!"
"Mabel, please!""10, 9,--"
"Grunkle Stan."
"6, 5,--"
"I trust you."
"Mabel, are you crazy!? We're all gonna--""One."
"AAHHHH!!" That was the last thing Dipper recalled from the memory then everything went black.
He finally got the strength to open them and when he did, he saw a white, silent void surrounding him. Dipper walked hesitantly through the colorless environment. He squinted his eyes and wondered that why of all places would he be sent here?
Suddenly a faint cackle became audible.
Dipper twisted his head around, trying to follow the voice.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the famous Pine Tree!" The voice added. Dipper inhaled sharply as he recognized the familiar voice. He started having doubts if maybe he was possessed but his question was immediately answered.
