A/N So, if you skipped the last chapter here's a quick run down... Cassie and Dean agree to go to the courthouse to give him paternal (Father) rights to Jonah. Cassie goes home and cries because she think there's no hope for them and then BAM! Dean shows up and they have sex! But this doesn't mean they are back together, Dean wants more from her before he'll tell her how he really feels and leaves Cassie alone to cry. There you go, so now that you're caught up. Let's get on with it!

"So let me make sure I heard you right," Bailey says as we sit on my bed eating ice cream, "You guys agree that Dean needs to become Jonah's legal parent. Then, after leaving lunch you go home and cry over pictures of you two. You don't expect Dean to come in and you guys totally have sex."

I grab a spoonful of ice cream, "Twice."

"Oh yeah once on the bed and then in the shower," She continues before taking the ice cream away from me, "What the hell Cassie? I thought you weren't going to have sex with him until he tells you he's sorry?"

"It just happened," I make an excuse as I try to take the ice cream back.

She frowns at me, "I thought you were pissed at him."

"I was," I sniffle, "But I don't know. I just love him. I never stopped."

"Yeah I know," She rolls her eyes, "Tell me again what he said to you before he left."

"He said that it was going to take a lot more than sex for him to take me back. And it would take more than a simple apology for him to forgive me."

She hands the ice cream back, "Damn that's harsh."

"I don't know what to do anymore. I thought he still loved me; I mean why would he come barging into my house? It couldn't be just for sex right?"

Bailey's hands are rubbing my back as I start to sob. Why can't I stop crying about this? This is exactly what Dean wants me to be doing right now. She sighs as she calls Dustin to tell him that she's staying over at my house late. Bailey had given up a date with her husband to console me. I didn't expect that; the Bailey in high school would have told me to grow some balls and get over myself.

"It sure is nice of your mom to keep an eye on Jonah while we hang out," She says as she lays next to me, "I'm glad Dustin is with my daughter. As much as I want to punch Dean, he is lucky you are letting him be a father to Jonah."

"God, I have to see him all the time and have to act like what happened today never occurred," I groan.

"Or you can think real hard about what he said," She smiles, "He never said he didn't love you. I mean he's basically telling you to prove yourself."

This gathers my attention, "Go on."

"Well, since he's had sex with you. He's gonna think that he's won. Except he hasn't. You need to prove you're stronger than that. I mean, he was really impressed when you beat that girl up. I think you need to show him you still got your country girl roots in you. Push him away next time he tries to put a move on you and go on dates. I guarantee he's already got himself a date to make you jealous. Show him that doesn't affect you anymore. It'll get so far under his thick skull; he'll have to give in."

Bailey was right. I needed to tough up, and prove him that he can't toss me around anymore. We had a son, and he needed both of his parents. I was still going to go through with what we planned earlier. However, I refuse to let him touch me until I get him to confess how he really feels. Prepare yourself Dean Henderson, I am gonna raise some hell.
