Macarena's POV

Vince's house is beautiful! It's in Highland Park, a fancy neighborhood a bit north of Chicago, the house is a two-story brick house with black gates and oak trees in the entrance. As we approach the front door, Chris reached for my hand to help me up the steps, my high heels are not helping me tonight, I accept his help but I can feel him tensing as our skin touch. But then again I might me misreading signs here. He rings the bell and the door opens to a smiling and warm Vince, I love this guy! He's hilarious, caring and a great friend.

"Welcome! Mi casa es tu casa!" (My house is your house)

I laugh at his attempt at speaking Spanish. He surely tries. He gives me a kiss on the cheek and shakes hands with Chris, Dani was invited too but she's getting ready to go visit Matt. I wish I was that lucky! I would love to go visit mi amor (my love).

Kyla, Vince's wife, is a beautiful woman, her dark hair brings up her blue eyes. She's a happy person, well, you kind of have to be when you are married to Vince Vaughn. I coo at the babies' pictures as she shows me, they have two kids, a three year old princess and a one year old Prince, they're both staying with their grandparents so mommy and daddy can have a night off.

We chat in their living room over some drinks, I'm having so much fun, this is a much needed night out, I have been working so much lately, concentrating on work so I wouldn't feel the heartache I've feeling ever since I left Lima. I miss Jamie so much that it is hurting physically. I don't work out anymore, like I used to. Now I just hang around the house on my free time watching TV but not really paying attention to it. I can't tell how many times I have watched The Fall just to watch my baby every single night before going to sleep. Vince snap me back to the conversation.

"So Maca, what are your plans after the movie?"

"I'm going back to New York, I need to check some things back home"

"Do you live in New York? I don't know why I thought you lived in L.A"

"Nope, New York it is, I have an apartment there"

I smile at Vince while thinking that I don't have other plans after filming in Chicago. I haven't got any good offers for movies. Furthermore, I don't know what Jamie's plans are after his movie so I'm going back to my piece of heaven.

"Any new projects?"

Chris asks with interest.

"Nothing interesting, what about you guys?"

"I'm taking some time off to enjoy the family"

Vince looks at his wife dearly and makes my heart ache longing to have that kind of relationship with Jamie.

"We're going to the Caribbean"

Kyla tells me with excitement. I smile back at her feeling happy for them and their perfect family.

"What about you, Chris?"

Chris brings his attention to Vince and after sipping on his whiskey he shrugs.

"I will have some weeks off before going back to L.A to film the new movie for Captain America"

Vince looks at me and I can't help but giggle at this. We share this inside joke. We call Chris 'The Captain' every time we have the chance.

"I know what you guys are thinking and stop it"

Chris whines and makes us laugh even more. Kyle looked lost and an angry Chris explains.
