Chapter 6

"He offered me to..."

I opened my eyes and I can see nothing but plain white ceiling with gold details on sides.I checked my clock on my bedside table and it's already 9:30 am and I still can't forget my conversation with Anne.She is till shocked about what Vice had offered me.She even dreamed to be in my situation,but honestly,It's confusing and I don't know if I made a right decision.

I fixed my bed and went outside and I saw Anne cooking something and it smells really delicious.

Pancakes.

My all time favorite.She make special pancakes and it is drizzled with chocolate syrup which is the best part then she puts whip cream on top.

"Hey,what wrong with you?May sakit ka ba"I asked then she laughed as she flip over the pancakes then catch it with a plate.

"Nothing,may masama ba na ipagluto ko yung bestfriend ko?"she said while she is placing plates on the island counter.I sat down,then got my plate and fork so I can get the pancakes."Do you want some hot cocoa?'she asked as she mix her hot cocoa.

"Nah I'm good"I said as I swallow down my food.

After eating our breakfast,she asked me if can go with her on a Kiddie Birthday Party because it's her niece's 7th Birthday until my phone rang.

Hello?-K

Hi Karylle,it's me Vice.-V

So bakit ka pala napatawag?may kailangan ka ba?-K

Nothing Much,I just want to ask if you're really okay with the deal?-V

Ofcourse,why did you ask?-K

Wala lang,meron nga pala tayong meeting with Kate at 5pm,so I will pick you up?-V

Oo naman sige-K

Okay bye love-V

I was about to say goodbye to him as well.

Oh wait..

He just called me 'love'.

Kikiligin na ba ko?

OMG,he just called me 'love'.

"Hoy,umayos ka nga diyan,may tinatanong ako sa iyo hindi mo nanaman sinagot"she said while washing the dishes.

"sorry naman,I just talked to Vice because he asked me something.."I said as I sit down on the couch.Anne gave me a grin and it's a freaky one,like a derp.

"Bakit nanaman Anning,problema mo the?"I said

"What did he asked?'

"He will pick me up at 5pm because we have a meeting about,you know,stuff"I said emphasizing the stuff word.She already knows what am I talking about.

"Then,what did you said?"

"I just said I'm in that's it.Ano pa ba gusto mo marinig?'I said.

"So you're not going with me?'

"Sasama ako siyemrpre,nakakabored kaya dito!"I said then pulling Anne so she can sit in the couch.She laughed then started tweeting something on her phone.

"Hey curtis you better stop what you're doing"i said.She laughed again.

After hanging out for an hour or two,we decided to get ready for the birthday party that we're gonna attend to.I decided to wear washed denim jeans and a croptop and Nike Maroon Roshe Run.But just simplified her outfit,white shorts,tank top and classic adidas.

"Wow,too casual for the day"she said while looking for her bag.

"Diba kiddie birthday party ang pupuntahan natin?"i asked while walking down the hallway.

"Oo diba kasasabi ko lang kanina?"she said then she also pressed the elevator button to go down to the basement parking.

"But where's your birthday gift? Don't tell me you're going to a kiddie party without a fucking present?"i said at natauhan siya dun,her face is shocked.I can't believe she didn't remember giving the kid a gift,like a cartoon character tshirt or something.

"Glad you remember it"she answered.

Oh Anne,how will you survive without me?

We reached through the basement parking and i saw my car there and yeah,we're using my car because she is too lazy to drive her own car.

"Namiss ko sumakay dito"she said plainly while wearing her seatbelt on the frontseat beside me.Paanong namiss?

"Ha? Bakit mo naman namiss?"i asked.It's still a question to me.

"Well,you've been going with Vice eversince he started asking you out and i've been driving alone so.."

Aww,my bestfriend misses me.

"Namimiss mo lang ako,just admit it"i wriggled my eyebrows,just to tease her.

"Wow ha?lakas ng loob magsabi ng ganyan"i answered then i started the car.

I drove through Alabang.The party is at the Pixie Forest at the Festival.The venue there is nice,there's a theme park inside.Well,i consider it as a theme park because there's a roller coaster inside of it and also ferries wheel.

"Do you know the place?"she asked.Then something rang on my pocket,it's my phone.I think it's Vice because we're gonna meet later and he's been paranoid since i said yes to his deal.Well,i really feel special when he asked me that.I think he really likes me.

"Bakit ayaw mo sagutin mo yung phone mo?"she asked.

Oh,i have to answer the phone.

"Ang dami ko kayang iniisip hahahaha"i said.

I saw Anne's face,little bit wierd because on what i've said.It seems like she doesn't believe me but it's true.I've been thinking a lot of things.

And my phone stopped ringing.

"It stopped and you didn't even bother to answer your phone"she said like she's really bothered that i didn't answer my phone.

"I'll just text him or her or whoever called me"

She rolled her eyes at me,i love teasing her because she looks cute when she's mad.

We reached Festival.We went inside after i park my car at the lot,we are about to go to the venue when i remembered that she doesn't have a gift yet.What kind of godmother Anne is?

"Hey,may balak ka bang bumili ng regalo sa inaanak mo?"i asked them we saw the department store of the mall.

"Yeah maybe i should buy the kid a gift"she said like she don't even care on what will happen next or even after the party.

We bought an Elsa Stuff Toy because you know,she's a girl and kids these days are up to the latest cartoon or movie they watch.
