"Daisuke, you better give my brush back before you regret ever taking it!" Rima yelled, as she chased after her idiotic brother in heap of recuperating her hair brush back.
Even though the two siblings were twins, they looked, and acted nothing alike. Rima had long blond hair that reached her mid back with a duo of obsidian dark eyes. Although it may seem like she was the most nicest girl you could ever meet, her personality proved otherwise. On the outside, she looked like a blond doll that all the boys were attracted to, but she could care less about all that stuff about love. All she cared about was training, and getting better. For a 12 year old, she was already at a chunin level. She was basically a prodigy. Everyone in the genin year looked up to her as if she were their sensei also. That's how good she was, and even if she didn't know it, everyone knew that she had very good genes considering both her dads were extraordinary shinobi's.
As for Daisuke, well he was a whole different story. If you looked past his looks, you would've never guessed that he was the rambunctious type. Even though he was 12, he acted like he was way younger than that. He never stayed still. Either he was up bugging his sister, or he was out training to get better than his sister. He got his looks from his dad, unsurprisingly. He had midnight spiky hair that took his dad's shape which resembled a chicken's butt. His eyes were the main feature in which all of the girls fell for. They were a nice emerald green color. You could say that he wasn't the smartest leaf on the tree. He caused chaos almost everyday by running through the streets of Konoha getting chased by his sister. He loved to tease Rima. It was one of his daily pastimes. He enjoyed it.
It had been exactly 12 years since Sakura and Naruto had died. Like she had promised, Ino had took in the two munchkins, and raised them like they were her own. She had never had her own since she had enough on her plate as it was. But she cared for them like she was their mom, and they came on to believing that.
She ended up marrying Shikamaru, and went on to running the shop by herself ever since her mother died not only a couple of years after that. She had promised her mother that she would run the flower shop until the day that she died, then hand it down to whomever she trusted the most. She was a 28 year old woman, had a great husband, and two marvelous, and sometimes rowdy, children. She had made it an effort to visit Sakura and Naruto's grave every evening when she closed up the shop for the day. And every once in a while, she would replace the flowers on their tombstones with fresh ones.
She missed the two of them so much. When she was younger, it was hard for her to imagine a life without those two. She actually couldn't even think about it. It was forbidden to her. Her mind wouldn't allow it. But at least they had left a piece of them behind to be remembered. She as grateful for that at least.
About a year from their death, Ino and her team had a mission somewhere in the land of iron, and luckily they had came across someone that they hadn't expected. Sasuke. It was hard for her to tell him what had happened to Sakura. But after she had explained to him of her death, she had, for the first time, seen the raven burst into tears. She had comforted him, and tried to get him to come back to Konoha, but what he had said made her shed a tear.
"What would I be going back to?! She's gone, and it's all my fault! If I hadn't of left, she would've still been here!"
There was no doubt in her mind that his heart had slowly been torn apart. But what could she had done? He was right. There was nothing waiting for him when he got back. They both knew that if had gone back, Tsunade would've sentenced him for execution. She knew that he wouldn't have been welcomed with open arms. She had think in reality.
So the team let him go instead of forcing him back to Konoha. At least he could take some time to force the one that he had loved death down his throat to move on.
