Sakura gulped down a huge gulp of water from her canteen and sighed. Her heart still raced with adrenaline. Itachi really worked her. Since one of her best techniques specialized in Genjutsu, she had to work with Itachi. Her legs were still weak from her and Sasuke's previous....... activities. He had left early that morning, which was a good thing because they really didn't need Itachi walking in on them like that. It was just..... embarrassing.
"You can't be tired yet my blossom. You're an Akatsuki member now. This should be a breeze for you." Itachi said from across the uprooted clearing.
She wiped the sweat from her brow and frowned.
"You've been at this death training since like forever! I just got here not only a week ago! *sigh* I really don't even know why I haven't asked Pain-sama for a different teacher."
Itachi arched an eyebrow.
"Different teacher? So I'm working you too hard?"
She waved her hands and smiled nervously.
"Not at all, its just that my body aches and I would like a rest once in a while, you know? You aren't doing anything wrong I just don't want to rush things. It takes me time to learn something, and actually understand it. So it's not your fault."
She smiled. He smirked.
"So I'm a softie?" He said, slightly amused.
She giggled.
"No, but at times when you want to be." She answered truthfully.
He shrugged.
"I guess so. So are you ready to start back again?" He asked.
She nodded.
"Hai!"

When Sakura came back from the 'bathroom', they entered the training area where there were various men performing all sorts of jutsus and attacks with weapons that even she had not come across. She was a bit mortified at all the dangerous activities that was wafting in the area but Itachi merely walked through them as if they were harmless. She toughened up and followed right behind him, constantly dodging the flying weapons and flamethrowers that blew past.
'Ack! We haven't even started training yet and I'm already being tortured!' She prayed that she would do at least something right and not humiliate herself any further. They settled at some distance away from the mad chaos of the main training area. She was quite nervous about any of this and tried to go along with whatever they might do. As somewhat expected, Itachi wasn't a very verbal man and he instantly attacked the nervous wreck before him without any warning, what so ever. She gave a small yelp then countered his attack with two kunais in each hand. He punched, she dodged. He had thrown a shuriken, she countered it. He got frustrated with her dodges. She made five clones, and attacked him all at the same time but he dodged them all with ease, then it was her turn to get frustrated. He punched her suddenly in the stomach but she used a replacement jutsu and wasn't hurt. She appeared behind him with three other clones and attacked him, he then flung three kunais at her but they were all clones too and he began to get confused.
'Thank you, Naruto.' she was glad that her blonde friend had taught her about this sort of cloning jutsu, all her training was finally beginning to show.
The real Sakura turned up all around him with more clones and attacks in a random patterns and successfully hits him and cuts his arm deeply. It wasn't like training at all, more like trying to kill each other but each discovered that the other's skills were more than they would have expected. She did the same routine once more but made sure that it wasn't the very same pattern or it would be too predictable. He managed to cut the flesh between her bottom neck and shoulder but she returned it by hurling three copies of herself to the man. He punched them all and dissipate. She hurled her own self into him with a kunai in hand, he stabs her stomach with a kunai of his own but she used substitution so there was no damage. She suddenly appeared before him and grazed his cheek. He punched her face and she was sent flying against a tree. She used her last bit of chakra to come revolve around her fist as she remained on the ground and slammed it against the soil making a great quake. Itachi almost lost his balance but while he was preoccupied for even just a split second she managed to strike him with a shuriken but unfortunately he caught it between his fingers. However, he wasn't early enough for the tips of the shuriken and it scratched his milky white skin. She leaned back and gave him a victorious smile even though she was the one still panting and the man before her wasn't even concerned about his bleeding cheek and right arm.
