I flickered my eyes open, running a hand through my curly locks as I sat up. I looked around me, same position I had been in last night- Except Hiccup wasn't there.

I dragged my hand down my face, while doing so I felt a tie and piece of parchment attached to the usual curl that hung over my forehead. I yanked on the parchment, snapping the tie, allowing it to come loose from my hair and into my grasp. Throwing the tie to the side, I read the scribbled words on the parchment.

Two or three words had been scribbled out, due to being written in Norse- The rest were written in a rough English. 'Come on down to the hall for breakfast- There's also an outfit I asked Toothiana to find in the dresser, third drawer from the bottom.
~Hiccup
P.S- Just saying, you snore really loudly. ;)'

I snorted at his last remark, as the ink on the page sudden began fading into grains of sand. The grains floated in mid-air, then rocketed away and under the crack under the bedroom door.

I scooched over to the edge of the bed and got to my feet, stretching my arms and approaching the dresser across the room. I grabbed the handle and opened the drawer, inside lay a shirt and pants. The shirt was a very loose dress shirt, puffing up at the lengthy sleeves with a corset sewn to the chest of it. All was a golden silk, soft to the touch and smooth. The pants were a bronze color, long enough to stop at about mid-shin, where they crinkled up and were tied with golden strings.

After stripping from the dress I was 'destined' to wear, slipping both the shirt and pants on with ease and tying the corset without much care, I looked to set my old shoes on- When I spotted some shoes beside the dresser, they were high boots that went up to the top of my shin, but not touching my knee. They had a slight heel to them and a swirly golden pattern detailed the fronts. I slipped them on over my light socks and got used to the feel of wearing them, before heading to the bedroom doors.

I honestly was starving, what Hiccup stole from the grocery markets back a North Disworks- er- Berk- didn't allow snacks. He never did tell me how he stole the products while there were people probably rationing for food, waiting for a power outage or snow-in, causing there to be a crowd, and still be unnoticed. Then again, he can teleport-
But with that aside, we ate what we could- Maybe now I could have a plentiful feast..I don't know.

I reached for the handle and pulled it open, greeted by the sounds of fountains of falling sand in the halls. It didn't look much like morning, it looked the same as night. How do you keep track of time down here- tally marks?

I took a right and descended down the hall, tracing the steps from when Tooth had guided Hiccup and me to our bedrooms. I strode down the hall and approached a four-way hall intersection, a beautiful fountain in the center, golden sand cascading off swirls of glass that protruded from the main pole and sand source in the middle of the fountain. I walked up to the fountain and did a swift double take before delicately dipping my hand into the pool of sand at the bottom of the fountain.

I watched as a bright light of gold illuminated the veins that were visible in my wrist. I felt a heat rise through my arm, as if an enjoyable fire had ignited in my blood. The heat soon rose to my cheeks and I felt- powerful- almost in a mind-set kind of way.

Suddenly I heard the soft tones of voices and I recoiled my hand from the sand, the feeling and glow disappearing. A cute, slightly high-pitched and voice-cracky laugh came from the left hall. With that came a few 'wooshing' sounds, as if sand was exchanging positions- or a tide was rushing over it.
