I want this, I want that, but I can't have this and that. Watching my older brother and sister blow bubbles with their double bubble gum always led to a funny story. At the time the double bubbly pieces were about as big as my two and half year old mouth. Seeing how big it was, I wasn't allowed to have it. I didn't let that stop me. Some how I managed to get the gun from the counter I couldn't reach. My mom walked in and took it from me leaving me to throw a tantrum like the little brat I was.
My sister walks in and said, "Why is she crying?" My mom, more than annoyed at my BS explained the situation. Keira being the best sister in the world grabbed the gum from my mom, bit it in half and gave part of it to me. My mom shocked just looked at her like she had two heads. MY sister told her that since the piece is smaller now, it can fit in my mouth and that I wouldn't choke on it. My sister added another piece to her mouth so she was, to my little self's amazement, chewing one and a half pieces.
After grabbing a handful more she walked into my parents room with my annoying little butt following her. We joined my brother on my parents bed, all chewing gum. As I failed at blowing a bubble, my brother and sister entered into a bubble blowing contest, whose was bigger? My brother and sister started blowing at the same time. Sometime along the way, my brothers bubble popped, leaving my sister as the winner.
Watching the bubble grow, we wanted to see just how big the bubble would get. It grew and grew and grew to about the size of my sisters face. Then our oh so loving brother reached out and popped it. We all just laughed as my sister tried and failed to get the bubble gum face mask off her face and out of her hair.
