Chapter 1 Metting my best friends

Akako's POV:
I met Kai and Miwa when I was 12... at Hitsue Elementary School... I still remember that memory...

/At Hitsue Elementary School/:
12-year old Akako's POV:
I walked inside my classroom... the teacher asked me to introduce myself...
I looked down at my feet shaking slightly... "M-m-m-my n-name is A-Akako Cho... and I-I-I am 12 y-years old..." I said quietly walking to my class not wishing to say more....

[Time Skip]

/Cafeteria/:
12-year old Akako's POV:
I was sitting at a lunch table alone in the cafeteria looking through my Vanguard deck...

12-year old Kai's POV:
Miwa and I were just heading to a lunch table when I saw a girl sitting by herself... "Hey Miwa.. isn't that the new girl in our class.." I said to Miwa "Yeah I think her name is Akako.." Miwa said I felt bad that she was sitting alone so Miwa and I went to go sit with her.

12-year old Akako's POV:
I noticed two more lunch trays beside me... I soon saw two boys... one on my right was a boy with brown hair and... amazing green eyes... the second to my left was a boy with blonde hair and gray eyes... The boys both smiled at me... I pulled my hood down so they wouldn't look at me...
"Hi!" one of them said  "Can you take off the hood." once again one of them said I took of my hood still looking at the table... I quietly continued to look at my deck.. "Whoa you play the Kagero deck!" one of them said to me
I finally looked at both of them...
"W-what a-are your names." I asked stuttering the boy with brown hair and green eyes introduced himself... "My name is Toshiki Kai but you can call me Kai." Kai said to me he then put his arm around the boy with blonde hair. "And this is my best friend Miwa." Kai said "My name is Akako..." I said Kai soon sat back down beside me and smiled... I blushed slightly... "So you play Vanguard too!" Kai said happily
"Y-yeah.." I said "Do you want to cardfight with us..." Miwa said I nodded.. "But I don't really know how to play..." I said slightly embarrassed... "We'll teach you!" Kai said
Kai and Miwa spent the lunch teaching the basics of a cardfight... I soon began my first cardfight with Kai-kun... while he used his Royal Paladins I used my Kagero deck... Kai had more experience so he ended up beating me.... A boy who seemed to be in the computer class asked if we could take a picture. "Sure!" Kai said Kai and Miwa put their arms around my neck smiling I soon smiled... the boy took the picture soon handing it to me. "You should keep it." Miwa said "But- really..." I said "Yeah besides we are friends after all." Kai said I looked at Kai and Miwa... "Friends..." I said "Yeah. Friends!" Kai said smiling... I blushed slightly... "Okay." I said smiling...

12-year old Kai's POV:
I looked at her smile.. I loved it.. my heart raced seeing her smile...

/Outside/:
12-year old Akako's POV:
It was the end of the day and Kai was heading home to leave... "Bye Miwa. Bye Akako!" Kai said heading home...
I smiled blushing slightly... "You like Kai don't you.." Miwa said I put my hood over my head trying to hide blush... "N-no! I-I d-don't!!" I said stuttering.. Miwa laughed "You totally like him!" Miwa said I blushed harder... "I-I- have to go... bye Miwa!" I said heading home...

/At Akako's room/:
12-year old Akako's POV:
I was on my bed looking at the photo I smiled I carefully put the photo back in my bag smiling... I made friends and I hope they never leave me....
