Chapter 9 The Vanguard Circuit?

/At the pond/:
16-year old Akako's POV:
I sat down looking at the pond... I took out my deck... I looked at the cards... the Silver Paladins... It was weird this wasn't my deck... the boy I was cardfighting with told me that the Royal Paladins, Shadow Paladins, and Kagero had been erased... like they never existed no one remembers my Kagero deck not even Aichi... It felt weird using a Paladin deck again other than the Shadow Paladins... I guess I'll have to get used to-
"Hey Akako... see anything good in the pond." I turned my head to see Kai... and may I say I love his sense of fashion!!!! A-anyway... "K-Kai... I- uh-.." I stood up dusting myself off I felt nervous around him and cause of this I klutzed up... and almost fell in the pond... luckily Kai grabbed my wrist holding me up and had his other hand on my back keeping me from falling... I looked into his eyes... his amazing.. wonderful- I shook my head trying to focus... Kai stood me up right... and let go of me.. I blushed embarrassed... "Be more careful." Kai said I nodded still blushing... okay I have to admit that I really like Kai and I've liked him ever since we were kids... I've been wanting to tell him... but I don't have the courage to... so I just decide to stay his friend for now...
I glanced at Kai who was still standing beside me... "Um... K-Kai... can you take a look at my deck." I said "Sure." he said we sat down on a park bench while he looked through my deck.
"The Silver Paladins..." he said "Does it seem different..." I said "No it looks like the same deck you usually use." he said "But... Kai that's not right. Let me see your deck." I said he handed it to me I looked through his noticing it wasn't Kagero... and if that's the case then Aichi doesn't remember his Royal Paladins... I gave him his deck while he gave me mine. "This may sound crazy... but for some reason everyone's memories of the Royal Paladins, Shadow Paladins, and Kagero's have been erased!" I said "Please Kai you got to believe me." I said he didn't say anything I sighed "Nevermind its-" Kai cut me off "Oh I do believe you Akako... I've know you long enough to know you would never lie to me." he said "So you believe me.." I said "I'll believe you once we solve this the way we usually solve our problems." Kai said holding his deck.

[Time Skip]

"You want us to cardfight here..." I said
"It's not as glamorous as the motion figure system buy it'll do. Now get out your deck." Kai said I placed my deck on the fight table... "Stand up..." we said "The." Kai said "Vanguard!" we said

{Fight Skip}

Kai beat me... even with a different deck... we soon turned our attention to a screen of the kid I cardfighted! He talked about he Vanguard Circuit... and how it is about teams that you get to cardfight around the world?! "A Vanguard Circuit..." Kai said he soon began to walk away... "Kai..." I said "I'm pursuing my own path Akako... but I'm sure our paths will cross again.." Kai said walking away.... "I hope they do...." I said
