Chapter 10 Training in the mountains

/In the mountains/:
16-year old Akako's POV:
Kai and I were in the mountains. It was cold! As we walked we came across two men... one of the men got upset and threw a log... it almost hit me but Kai grabbed it tossing it back to the man... "I'm here for big foot." Kai said the man took us to his supposed spot to see big foot... Kai soon began to walk down... please be careful...
Anyway... big foot came out to cardfight Kai... they soon began their cardfight.... I watched as big foot was revealed to be Kyou Yhagi!! I felt worried though... but I didn't know why...

[Time Skip]

I soon heard a rumbling... the mountains snow began speeding toward Kai and Kyou! It was an Avalanche!!! "Kyou! We got to get out of here!" One of Kyou's friends said. Kyou said he wasn't going to leave. "Kai! Get out of there!" I said he didn't say anything my body was shaking I've never felt so afraid!! The avalanche soon hit... "Kai!!" I screamed  I couldn't see Kai at all... I felt tears fill my eyes... "Hey look." I hear one of Kyou's friends say I looked to see Kai uninjured helping Kyou get out of the avalanche...
We all soon reached the log cabin... Kyou soon woke up... "Why did you save me." he asked Kai "I couldn't just leave you." Kai said in reply.. "Well don't expect a thank you." Kyou said "Considering you can still talk trash I'll assume you uninjured." Kai said walking away I soon followed...

As we kept walking I began to feel colder... "What's wrong Akako." Kai said "Oh... um- nothing I'm fine." I said Kai turned and looked at me... I looked at him... I hugged Kai... I felt tears fall from my eyes... "Why are you crying." he said "B-because I thought I lost you in that avalanche... If I lost you I don't know what I would do..." I said crying... Kai released me from him and placed his hands in my face... he looked at me... our eyes met... I felt my face heat up... Kai wiped my tears.... "Kai..." I said he let go of me... and turned around... "I don't want to see you crying..." he said to me... I looked at him... "Okay." I said I felt the cold wind blow I felt cold again... I soon felt an arm around me pull me close... I look up at Kai... "Feel warmer." he said I blushed... but smiled... "Yeah... a little." I said

I wish I could tell you how I feel Kai...
