Echo watched years pass by, she remembered the words she said to her mother. Some days she would scream and shout and other days she would just sit alone and cry. Lea would often go outside and not return for days. But she always came home. Every day Echo would think of Starr. A few weeks after Echo turned grey, she developed a power. She could make anything appear out of thin air. Accept when she wanted to conjure up any living thing. One Tuesday evening Echo found an old mirror and a place for her crystal ball. She put the crystal in place and thought of Starr. She saw her. Echo saw Starr looking at her from the other side of the mirror. Echo checked behind her mirror and saw nobody was there. Obviously it was nowhere else in her house because the room on the other side of the mirror was really pink. "Starr?" Echo asked. "Echo!" Starr beamed. Echo looked away and turned back. She spilled everything that happened and asked all kinds of questions. Both girls were happy until Starr said the words Echo never wanted to hear. "Jake is marrying Spirit too!" Starr said. Echo wiped away the tears in her eyes before they fell. "You and Kayden still fine?" Echo sniffled. Starr nodded while biting her lip. She did;t want to say anything else that would hurt Echo's feelings. After a little while, Starr said, "I miss you Echo..." Echo couldn't take it anymore. She had to tell Starr her feelings.
