What I learned from the MRI

Ok so I know this is kinda late but... I'm finally doing this chapter now at least!! No need to panic! (At the disco)

So I went to the doctor on Wednesday the 17th. Doctor came in and said "well I have good new and bad news"

"the MRI showed that nothing is wrong with your knee but that also means there is nothing I can do to fix it."

We went and looked at the images and then went back to the room I was put in. He started talking about my options.

1. Go back to physical therapy

Or

2. Do nothing. Just continue with what I've been doing.

When he started talking about how what I'm dealing with could last for a few months or for a few years I broke down crying. This has honestly been some the worst three months of my life in the physical pain world. I've had some really bad mental pain months but that's different.

My pain level right now (without me doing much for the day other than sitting) is in between a 6 and 7... On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst.

So in three months I go back to the doctor. I'm keeping a pain diary (I should have started when my leg first started hurting but I'm dumb and didn't think of that sooooooo I started it the 18th)

When I go back it will be 6 months since it started which means if it's still hurting as bad we can do something about it and the insurance will pay for it. Right now the insurance won't pay for anything else.

I'm going to an amusement park on Friday or Thursday (can't remember which XD) and I plan on renting a wheelchair.

I can still skate so tomorrow I go skating (Hopefully). I'm only do public skate no lessons. (Public skate is about a hour and a half.) which mostly involves me sitting instead of actually skating cause I'm usually hurting that bad.

One of the problems with this whole deal is the medicine I take makes me very nauseous. So I'm usually also taking Ginger Root to help with the nausea. I have to take it for breakfast and dinner (the ginger root) because if I forget the dinner one I'm nauseous for most of the night and in the morning.

Two days ago I forgot to take it and spent most of the night crying from the pain and the nausea.

I'm going to fight through this crap though. I will make it out of this.

Sorry it took me so long to let y'all know what happened... I love you guysssssss <3
