Scars - Chapter 4

Ariana's POV

"Ariana, what are you wearing?!" My mom asked with anger. I didn't say a word. She took me to the hospital, they took X-Rays of my leg and we waited for results. "Let's see, you're Ariana right? You're foot seems to be be alright, just take a week off of school and let it rest and you'll be alright." The doctor said.

They then put me on a wheel chair and took me to the car. Once me and my mother were in the car, she gave me the silent treatment. "Mom," then my mother cut me off. "I'm disappointed of you. You're wearing clothes like a-a slut would wear." Once she said that I cried my eyes out.

When we arrived at our home, Frankie came out and helped me up to my room. Once he was leaving my room, he gave me the exact same look Alexa gave me. Once he left, I got a text, it was from Graham. Graham and I have been dating ever since 13 the Musical. "Hey Ari" I stopped reading right there. This couldn't be good, he always calls me "babe, shorty, beautiful, love" sometimes when he has bad news, he calls me "Ari."

I sighed, and kept reading. "I saw pictures that the paparazzi have taken of you... Today. You were wearing, no offense, slutty, clothes. I can't date a slut I'm sorry. GoodBye." Everyone thinks I'm a slut, this is ridiculous. I checked my drawer for a razor I quickly got it and started to cut. The blood was dripping, I dragged myself to the bathroom and cleaned my arm.

I started to cry, my makeup was getting messy. My mom came in I crossed my arms so she wouldn't see. She grabbed my arm, and started crying. "I understand why you cut, I just don't want you to be upset." She said. I looked away, and she left.

(Next week)

I was back in school, this time I was the old me again. But, everyone was laughing at me, they knew that I cut. I just wanted to be better then everyone else, at least for once. I ran to the bathroom I was about to cry then I got a text it was from Dan, Dan Schneider. "Hey Ariana! You've got the part you'll be meeting you cast mates tonight at 8 pm at the nick studio! See ya there!"

I was shocked! I was going to be in a tv show! This was my chance to be the best person. I got my red string so I can stay positive. Once school was over I ran to my house and told my mom. She was so happy for me. I took a shower and straightened my hair and wore a my favorite polka dot dress. My mom drove me to the nick studio, I took a deep breath and went inside. They gave us our scripts and we got to know each other better. They were all so nice.

I also saw Liz! I almost cried of joy! One of my best friends will be hanging out more with me. We also saw the set and our dressing rooms, our outfits, and our makeup/hair artists! It was so amazing, it was a bit different from 13 but a bit better. Our cast mates were so funny and energetic. I finally found my new family. I invited everyone for a little part but, Victoria didn't want to. I sensed that she hated me or maybe we don't get a long that very well, I couldn't act friends while on set if she hates me.
