Gerard looks up at the boy and blushes. Gerard smiles and says "what's a beauty like you doing flirting with me"?
The boy smiles and sticks out his hand. "Hello,my name is Frank...Frank Iero". Gerard reaches out and shakes his hand. "Gerard Way". Frank sits down beside him as if they have known each other for a long time and asks "can I have a light"? Gerard hands him a cigarette and lights it for him.
"Nice rose garden you've got" Frank says. Gerard looks at him and says "Yeah,I grew it myself,also nice hands!". Frank puffs the smoke out of his nose and says,"thanks I grew them myself". Gerard chokes on the smoke and starts laughing.
Frank giggles and takes a last,long draw from his cigarette and throws it on the ground. He stands up and stomps it out. He turns and looks at Gerard." I have to get going before my roommate wakes up,but before I do,take this". He hands Gerard a beautiful white rose covered in dew.
Gerard takes the rose and says "you better be back" and smiles."Oh I will,trust me" Frank says before turning around and walking down the street at a fast pace humming Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. Gerard stomps out his cigarette and walks inside. Mikey was inside sitting on the counter.
"What was the guy doing here again" he asks. "Just being friendly" Gerard says. Mikey rolls his eyes and says "well while you and that boy were being friendly I climbed the tree and broke into your room,by the way you need to start locking you window". Gerard just shakes his head and puts the rose Frank had just given him in the vase with the other one.
Gerard grabs his pencils and notepad and runs back to his room carrying the vase of flowers with him. He locks his door and starts blasting random Misfits songs and singing along. Before he new it,it was almost lunch and all he could think about was Frank.
