The foul smelling graze wound from the bullet whizzing by filled my senses. This would be the eighth bullet the authorities fired at me.'Man I know I'm wanted but good lord I ain't a terrorist.'I think to myself.I grip my now paralyzed arm tight.Lucky for me I know a way to shake these cops.I cut across the street, cars blaring their horns.New Yorkers, typical."Frezze!"yelled a cop in front of me.I slide to his left and swing my heel into his back. The other five behind me slide to a stop to see if the one I drop kicked was alright. This was my chance.I ran for it.
I feel a tongue to my face."Arg Miia!"I giggle out."Nien,Nien,Nien!"I state in laughs. She stops licking me and steps off me.Her language which I trained her in was German, the basic words were
1.Nien is No
2.Legen is Lay down
3.Sats is Sit
4.Bleibe is StaySome basics.
She was an abandoned pup.I rescued her 3 years ago.I stood up and Miia followed me to our home.Which was a run down bus.I gut out years ago.The only thing that remains of the old bus was 4 seats which we bolted in against the walls to sleep on.I open the doors,Miia walks in and I follow, closing the door behind me.The adrenaline rush slowly seeped away from my bullet wound.I bit my lip as I grab a red medical bag which hung on a hook by the back escape door.Grabbing a needle and thread,a clean rag,and a bottle of water. One pain pill so I can sleep.I stitch me right arm with my left hand.Cleaning the blood, taking a pill dry and wrapping the muscle.
My world how nice.
I slide out of my messy skinny jeans and my tight black long sleeve shirt. Then I slip on fleece shorts and I slip on a worn down hoodie.I curled up in my blanket.Miia curled up asleep underneath me.Like she normally would do."Night Girl."I mutter to sleep.
