Chapter eight: Tear shed and broken souls

Souls p.o.v
When (y/n) came through the transportation base she collapses into my arms. Then kid came out with liz holding chase and patty holding ethan. When i looked down at my love she was oozing blood from a deep cut in her back. I pick her up and run her to the dispensary of the dwma. Once inside the city I ran faster since there wasn't any sand holding me back. Upon arrival of the dispensary I tell stein what I know and he kicks me out so he could fix up my love

A few minutes later kid and the gang come running down the hall. The twins still unconscious on the backs of kid and Blackstar now. When they arrived they set the twins against the wall and relax. I told them about stein and how he is fixing her up. Kid then tells me what happened on their mission and how things got pretty rough. Then he told me about crona and that was the last straw. Not only did that damn demonsword hurt chase, ethan, and i, he also hurt my love! The next time I have a chance he is going to pay for what he has done.

A couple hours later stein came out and then he examined the twins. They were ok but Ethans soul was disfigured and looked broken. Like a piece of him was missing. When stein examined chase he looked fine and his soul was still in tack. He said to put ethan on the dispensary bed and chase in the chair next to his meister. When we were inside I saw her peacefully sleeping there like nothing ever happened.

Chases p.o.v
When I woke up maka, soul, Kid, tsubaki, patty and Blackstar where looking at me. Liz was sitting next to me on the floor. I looked down at her and smiled. Then I try to remember where I am and where the hell ethan and (y/n) are. "Guys what happened, where am i?" Kid looks at me and frowns. "Chase your in the dispensary of the dwma, your meister was hurt and ethan has a piece of his soul missing." I frown and look around. That's when I remember. How the hell do I come out of this mess unscaved.

I thought about it for a minute and then sat up straight. My back was killing me and my mind was in other places. Soul looks at me and begins to shed a few tears. I look at him and for the first time I realize that soul isn't the shady character Ethan and i made him out to be. For the rest of the day I went to class with the other and hung around them. After school I went to the dispensary and sat in between my brother and meister.

A few hours later my meister wakes up and looks at me. "Hey chase, what are you doing here?" "Watching out for you and Ethan" she gives me a puzzled face and looks past me. When she saw ethan she started to cry a little and then those tears turned into screams. "Damn it crona, I'm going to save you from your mom and then you will apologize for what happened to us!" This made me giggle a little and then burst out laughing. She gets up, pulls out the tubes from her arms and changes into the clothes by her bedside. She then grabs a pair of crutches so she can slump, so she doesn't hurt her back. We head home after stein said so and ate dinner. For the first time that night our life's felt empty without ethan.

Your p.o.v
A few days after the incident kid decided to throw a party. Ethan still wasn't awake so kid wanted to do something to take all our minds off of it. As I was walking the halls with chase next to me I felt a pair of arms wrap against my waist. I knew it was soul because he was being gentle. I still had the crutches but he stilled managed to wrap his arms against my waist. "Hey babe, chase and I are about to go visit ethan, are you gonna come?" He let's go and walks in front of me and smiles. That was his way of saying yes to me.

We headed towards the dispensary and stopped when it said "do not disturb" I sighed and headed towards the front of the school. Of course chase and soul were right behind me. At the front Blackstar was fighting ox for the seventh time and I was so over it. I walked over to Blackstar, put all my soul wavelengths into my crutch and hit him with it. This sent him flying and he was rendered unconcious. I did the same to ox knocking him out. After I was finished I felt way better and then headed towards my house.

A lot was on my mind while we were walking. Was chase upset that ethan wasn't awake, is soul concerned, does chase blame me for what my cousin did. All those things ran through my head with several scenarios. When we reached the apartment complex I walked into the wall because I was lost in my thoughts. I rubbed my head and sighed. Then we took the elevator to the second floor and walked into my apartment.

I sat on the couch and chase made all three of us my favorite drink. Iced snicker doodle coffee. At six soul left and went to get dressed for the party that kid was holding tonight. Chase headed to my room and got me an outfit. Then he went to his room and changed. The dress he picked out was a red and black dress with a red silk ribbon and a black rose. He also got me my 1 inch heels that happened to be black. I put it on and said it was okay for him to come out. He said I looked gorgeous and then we headed to kids house. When we got outside, maka and soul were waiting for us.

We all walked to kids house together. Maybe tonight will be a good night. I just need something to get my mind off of ethan for a while.
