Chapter Thirteen: Bad news and Terrible fights

Your p.o.v
When I woke up it was 1:30 in the afternoon. I was in the dispensary and chase, soul and maka were all joking and having fun. I sit up and yawn. I don't remember why I'm here or what really happened. "Oh hey babe your finally up you feel better?" "Yeah but why am I here and what happened?" They all go silent and then chase sighs. "(y/n) i knocked you out because something happened on our last mission" I become curious because the last thing I remeber was ethans death and the kishins revival. I smile and look at soul. "You don't have to tell me anymore if I really wanted to know I can just try to remeber it right?"

When chase, maka, soul and i left that day chase went back to his normal distant routine. I didn't want to bother him but what if somethings on his mind. I casually walk over to him and slap him in the back of the head. "What the hell (y/n), are you gonna keep slapping me to get my attention?" I smile. "What fun would it be if I just called your name? Plus I have a question" he raised his eyebrow and before I could ask the question we reach class crescent moon. "(y/n) why don't you save that thought for after class" I sigh. When we walked in blackstar, tsubaki, kid, liz and patty were already seated. We all approach them and we do our normal routine. Except it was 2:00 pm and this was the last class for the day. The bell rung and stein came in on his chair. Today he was going to teach us about dual resonance. As an example he used ox ford, maka and soul, and blackstar. Stein didn't want to risk the destruction of the class room.

Chases p.o.v
As we watched professor stein fight maka, soul, ox and blackstar i decided to tap my meister on her arm. "So what was the question you wanted to ask me earlier?" She looked at me and then back down at the desk. "Chase why are you so distant, do you blame me for your brothers death?" I already answered this question but if she is asking again I guess she really did loose some of her memorys. I sigh and decided to answer the question. "I'm distant because I don't want you thinking that if I protect you that it's your fault" her head rises and she looks right at me. Her face was full of tears and regret. I scoot closer to her and hold her in my arms while she cried. "Now what would soul say right now if he saw his girl friend crying, oh I know he would say something about it being so uncool."

This made her giggle and she wiped the leftover tears from her face. When we looked back down at the sparing match we saw maka on the floor, and blackstar beating the crap out of ox. I sigh and i run down the stairs to stop the fight. I jump in and deflect blackstars hit and help ox out. Ox and his weapon return to their seat and i continue to fight blackstar. He starts to mumble and i go ahead and run at him and did the technique my meister always did to me. I grab his head, swing my knee into his face and then kick him across the classroom.

Blackstar flies and i apparently beat his undefeated record. Liz runs down the stairs and jumps into my arms. "Congrats babe, someone finally set blackstar straight" I laugh and when i look up at my meister her face was buried into kids chest. She must of cried again because kid is giving me the devil eyes.

Souls p.o.v
When maka finally let go of me i transformed back into a human and lifted her onto my back. What a dummy, she really needs to take a break. The bell rung and stein told us we would finish this tomorrow. When i walked up to where my love was i saw her face buried into kids chest. "Kid what happened? Is she ok?" He nods his head and picks her up and carries her piggy back style. "Let's just say she has had enough of letting people down and hurting people." She is just like maka. Over sensitive and caring to a point. I must be a suckered for girls like her huh?

We made our way out of the classroom, out of the dwma and into death city.
