Chapter three

They've met, so what's next?

Ethan's P.O.V

I slept on the couch last night while Mr. Rich guy slept in my bed. I can't even look at my phone, Nick is going to kill me and I don't even want to know what Michael's mom wants to do to me. Sitting up I'm greeted by Levi who's just staring at me "hey bud" planting my head in my palms I think, should I go wake him up or just let it him wake up on his own? I read somewhere he likes to sleep in and I can't have that, I have to go to work soon. Walking to the kitchen I make some coffee "what am I going to do Levi?" I lean against the peninsula waiting for my coffee to cool down

"Who are you talking to?" Michael walks in and I'm startled

"Umm my dog Levi" I point. He stands there just looking around "do you want coffee?" I ask

"Sure" he sits in a stool and I pour some coffee into a mug and hand it to him "who are you by the way?" he places the mug down "I don't remember how we met or how I got here, did we have sex?" my mouth drops as those last four words exit his mouth

"No! we didn't" I quickly reply "I slept on the couch"

"How did we meet?"

"I was one of the photographers from your parents restaurant opening last night and I found you in the bathroom"

"So you take me to your place?"

"I don't know where you live" I reply and he sips his coffee. He doesn't reply so I say "well I need to go to work so..."

"I'm not stopping you" what does he mean? I stand there confused "go get ready I'll make myself breakfast" oh he's not leaving, great.

I walk away and get ready for work. After getting ready I walk back into the kitchen "I have to leave now" I turn to walk away then stop turning back "oh and your clothes are in the dryer over there" I point "you threw up all over them so I washed them" he smiles at me

I turn to leave "thanks" he says and I walk out. I can't believe I'm leaving a total stranger in my apartment, he is Michael Young what could he steal?

Rushing into the building I look around and everyone is looking at me, yep they know. "Nick is looking for you" someone says. I head to Nick's office knowing he's about ready to hand me my butt

I knock on his door then stick my head in trying to hide "heard you were looking for me?"

"Get your ass in here!" he calls out and I walk in shutting the door preparing myself "I stuck my neck out for you Ethan, I came to you with the job because I like you and I knew you could do it. I shouldn't be getting phone calls telling me you drenched Cecily Young in red wine and ran away like a little girl"

"I panicked" I frown

"Ethan she is pissed! but I covered for you so you owe me" I smile "oh no that doesn't mean I forgive you" he gets out of his seat "here" he hands me my camera bag "my friend brought it to me last night and said you left it behind"

"Oh thank god! I thought I'd never see my camera again" I take it from him making sure everything is ok.

"Get to work, the models are downstairs waiting for you"

"Thanks Nick I owe you one"

"It's cool" I leave and get to doing what I do best.

After work I head home, please don't let him still be there. it's been hours he has to be gone. I unlock the door expecting Levi to run to me but to my surprise he doesn't "Levi?" I call out dropping my bag. Walking around I call his name again "Levi" but nothing. I head upstairs to my room to find Levi napping in my bed, he never does that I've been trying to get him to come on the bed forever. I hear noises coming from the bathroom and I walk towards it, pushing the door I walk into a very naked Michael coming out of my shower "OH!" I gasp "I'm so sorry" I rush out standing outside of the bathroom door "I didn't see anything" I lie, I saw everything.
