Sailor Moon: The Cosmos

Chapter 2

Sailor Chaos got off from her knees and stood up to face Sailor Chaos. Her black hair and black fuku rippled like it was alive. A black aura glowed off her body. Dark power jumped off her skin.

She walked closer to Kibo. Her black heels felt trails from her powers destroying the floor. The lights died as their powers died with the stars and planets. Sailor Chaos came nose to nose with her enemy. "The powerful Cosmos had meet her match."

"Cosmos! Can you hear me?" Venus yelled in her ear. "We can't stand for Chaos's power. We need your..."

Chaos narrowed her eyes as she looked over at Venus's bright glow on the floor. Her hand closed as that side of the floor broke. Around the sun, every planet was gone.

A tear rolled down Sailor Cosmos's cheek. In a tiny voice, she said "No."

Sailor Chaos turned to look at her. "What?"

"No!" Sailor Cosmos screamed. Her scream echoed off what were left if the Crystal Kingdom's walls. A bright white light came from her forehead as her power swelled. She held her staff and moved it out to Chaos. Her body flew a few feet back as she hit the wall.

Chaos stood up and shook her head. Her wavy hair moved with her. "Oh, Cosmos. You are so weak."

Cosmos bent her knees as Sailor Chaos's dark figure tab to her. With their staffs, they hit eachother. Chaos brought her face to Kibo's as she held her staff against the white Senshi. "You will not win this, Light of Hope."

At her birth, her mother had given her that name. Hint. Kibo meaning Hope. The universe blessed her with the powers as the Ultimate Sailor Moon, thus making her Sailor Cosmos. Now, Chaos used it like it was acid to her taste buds.

Cosmos narrowed her eyes. "Light will always win in the darkness."

She moved her white staff and bounced Chaos off of her. Once she could move freely, Kibo held out her staff pointing toward Chaos. "Cosmos Power Attack!"

White light swirled around Sailor Chaos. She moved her arm in a simple motion and the light disappeared. "Yes, your pathetic little attacks can't work on me."

Her blue eyes widen as Cosmos looked at Chaos. Was it true? Had she finally meet her match?

Sailor Chaos started out in a full sprint across the caved in floor. Her wavy black hair slicks back from the speed as her black geek click across the floor. She bends her tan legs and jumps into the air. Chaos raised her black staff over her head with the end of it pointing down. With her red eyes, she aimed for Sailor Cosmos.

In a second, Kibo raised her white staff up in defense. Their two staffs hit each other and an eruption of power ripples through the Crystal Kingdom. The walls began the crack as the pieces fell from the ceiling. The black cloud circled around the Kingdom as Chaos grew more angry. Lightning hit the town and fire started dance on houses.

Chaos's body hit Sailor Cosmos and the two rolled on ground. The two wrestled around until Chaos was able to sit on too of Kibo. The white Senshi turned her head in time to see her staff laying a few feet from her. Cosmos turned her blue eyes back at Chaos.

Chaos turned her staff around and pointed the black glide at Kibo's fair face. "Have any last words, Queen?"

"Get off." Sailor Cosmos mumbled. In a swift motion, she pulled up her knee to her stomach and kicked Chaos off of her. Once she saw her enemy on the ground, Kibo ran to her staff. The ceiling fell into larger pieces now and the walls couldn't hold up anymore.

"I have to get out of here!" Kibo whispered to herself as she swiped the staff off the ground. Her eyes darted across the room to see the large doors that she had closed earlier with great confidence. Now her sacred room was in ruins.

She stepped to go near the door but weight knocked her off her feet. Cosmos flew into her back and opened her eyes to see Chaos radiating. Black power swirled around her as she stood over Kibo like she had already won the fight. "Not so fast, my runt."

Cosmos narrowed her eyes at the pin name but turned her head quickly to see more ceiling falling. The sky was in clear view now and dust started to raise to the sky from the destruction. She knew she had to get out of here, quick.

Chaos's staff sparked inside the glide as lightning hit another part of the Crystal Kingdom. She aimed it right where Cosmos's seven star broad laid on her fuku. "I finally have you right where I want you, Sailor Cosmos."

Black power started to cloud the glide. Yellow sparks were being created inside from the storm that she was creating with her powers. Sailor Chaos smirked a bit. "I will finally be the most powerful Senshi in the universe!"

"Wrong!" Cosmos screamed as she kicked her foot up. She barely nicked the staff but it was enough to get it out of Sailor Chaos's hands. The black staff went air born and landed right into the pale palms of Sailor Cosmos. "I have you right where I want you!"

Sailor Cosmos stood up with a victorious look on her glowing face. She raised the black staff over her head to hit it against the ground. Then the Earth shook. An earthquake erupted out of the ground and all of the walls crumbled to pieces. Large prices of crystal fell everywhere as Cosmos looked for a way out.

The two Senshi locked eyes before running. They both separated and ran for different directions. As Cosmos ran for the garden outside of the Kingdom, her eyes watched in disbelief as her home fell to nothing.

Once she hit the mud, she looked back to see her beautiful Kingdom become rumble. Around her, bodies of the Senshi that had tried to held her laid lifeless from Sailor Chaos's power.

"Everyone is gone." Sailor Cosmos whispered. She turned her head around as if she could find another body with her. Tears burned as they formed in her eyes. "Everyone is gone, but me."

"Look what you have done."

Sailor Cosmos turned around to see Sailor Chaos. Her black fuku outfit was torn and she had scratches from the falling Kingdom. Cosmos didnt look far from it either. Her white skirt was torn and stuck to her legs from the sweat. One of her yellow sleeves was torn off and the wings in her hair were tilted different ways. Her usually white neatly done hair with heart odangos were starting to unravel. She also had a few cuts here and there from the battle.

"You risked everyone's life. You destroyed your Kingdom. And now, you are worthless." Chaos let out a laugh. She held out her hand the black staff was ripped from Cosmos's grip.

As she looked around, Kibo knew she was right. The worst part was that everyone died for her. Now, she let them die for nothing.

"Pathetic." Chaos sneered. She aimed her staff at Cosmos and the black light hit the Senshi.

Cosmos's feet lift off from the ground as her body goes air born. She hits the ruble and she tumbled across the rocks. The rocks scrap across the what used to be her Kingdom. Kibo rolled around on her back and held her arm as she tried to fight back a scream. Her eyes looked over to see Sailor Pluto.

Her purple hair was across the ground and made the illusion of blood for Pluto. Her fuku was torn and ripped to almost nothing. The staff she usually used to attack laid beside her in three different pieces. Around her waist was the silver chain that held the keys to the Time Gate.

"Time." Cosmos whispered to herself. If she could go back in time to before Chaos had became into the form of a Senshi, she could have won. She could have killed her easily and been seen as a champion like Kibo was born to be like.

Her hand shook as she reached out for one of the keys. The chain let go of the key and the pink circle inside of the key glowed in Kibo's hand. In a low voice, Sailor Cosmos said,"Take me to the Time Gate."

In a second, a pink light came down on Cosmos. She looked up into the light and felt her body go weightless. As she floated up, her eyes wondered down to see Chaos running towards her. She aimed her staff up at Sailor Cosmos but before she could use her power, the key had transported Sailor Cosmos to the Time Gate.
