Sailor Moon: The Cosmos

Chapter 12

"Where are the Starlights' crystals?!" Princess Kakyuu's voice echoed off into the distance. "Give them back!"

Sailor Chi held up her staff. Around them, the crystals on the grounds started to glow like Christmas lights. Everyones' heads turned back and forth as they saw all the crystals.

Chibi tried to add them all up in her head. She knew how tiny the Sailor Crystals are. Each one of these crystals must have a least thousands of them in one. Her heart hurt. All these Sailors died and now their crystals are being used for evil.

"Are the crystals in there?" Sailor Chibi Moon asked.

Sailor Phi looked at the Quartet and Sailor Chibi Moon. "Wow! Even more Sailor Crystals made it here. This will be a good harvest!"

"Our Star Garden is eager to have your Sailor Crystals!" Sailor Chi said in agreement went her twin. The two raised their staffs and they began to glow.

Stepping out from the line, Princess Kakyuu stood out in front of everyone. "Sailor Moon, I will fight too! I too am a Sailor Scout. Kinmoku Star power make up!!"

"Princess Kakyuu!" Sailor Moon tried to argue.

The smell of lilac took over the air as cherry blossoms went around the Princess. Her red light transformed her into a Sailor. Her dress went into a mini skirt. The usually long sleeves became just puffy at the top if her arms. She still wore her crown and had the cherry blossoms on her hair. Princess Kakyuu's usually calm face was now covered with revenge.

"Kinmoku's Star Guardian. Sailor Kakyuu is your opponent!" Sailor Kakyuu screamed to Sailor Phi and Chi.

"Healer, Fighter, Maker. Give me your power." Sailor Kakyuu held out her hand and cards circled around her. "Starlights Royal Straight Flush!"

The cards spiraled to the crystals. They sliced the crystals right in half. As if like a hologram, the Sailor Crystals disappeared. Jaws dropped from both sides of the battle feild.

"They disappeared? Where are the Starlights' Sailor Crystals?" Sailor Kakyuu asked the twins.

Instead of answering, Sailor Chi held out her staff. "Galactics Plant Blizzard!"

"Kinmoku Fusion Tempest!"

"Star Light!" Sailor Moon held out her staff to help her friend.

Sailor Kaykuu turned to look at the other Senshi. "Sailor Moon! Their power comes from their bracelets!"

Aiming right for the gold wrists bands, Sailor Moon pointed her staff. "Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!"

Just like Sailor Kakyuu said, their power was in their bracelets. Sailor Chi disappeared like the others. Her body turned to dust then laid on the ground.

"Princess!" Chibi Moon screamed.

Sailor Chibi Chibi saw it just in time. From the sky, Sailor Phi came from the mist. With her staff pointing straight down, the bottom end of it went straight through Sailor Kakyuu. Her body fell to the ground.

Sailor Moon screamed. "Princess Kakyuu!"

Sailor Chibi Chibi ran to Princess Kakyuu's side. Sailor Moon held the Princess in her arms as they sat on the ground. The Cherry Blossom Princess looked up into Sailor Moon's eyes. "Sailor Moon... When this battle ends, let their be a new world... With no struggles. I am honored to have fought with you... I want to be born again, with everyone else. Do you think I can be born.... Again?"

Princess Kakyuu slipped her hand into Sailor Moon's. A single year rolled down Sailor Moon's face. "Of course. We posses the Sailor Crystal. We can be reborn again and again."

"Yes..." The Princess let out a sigh. Her breathing started to become shallow. "Sailor Crystals are... Our only hope... Right?"

Her head went limp as she died in Sailor Moon's arms. Sniffles started to fill the air as the tender moment hit everyone. Chibi could feel the mourning inside her heart.

"Kakyuu!" Sailor Moon screamed for the Princess. Tears ran out of her eyes as she held on to the Princess.

The staff of Sailor Phi hit the ground. "If you die, there will no longer be suffering! Sacrifice yourself and end the destruction! Give the Silver Millennium Crystal to us!"

Sailor Moon set the Princess down on her back. She balled up her fist as she looked up at Sailor Phi. "I won't give it to you. I will end this industry with the power if the Silver Millennium!"

"Sailor Crystals are not meant for destruction. They are for peace, happiness, and life." Holding out her staff again, Sailor Moon narrowed her eyes. "I believe!"

Sailor Phi widen her eyes as she got hit with Sailor Moon's powers. Her body disintegrated and fell to the ground. Her staff hit the ground with a clink before it too turned into dust.

Behind Sailor Moon, Princess Kakyuu's body started to glow. It raised in the air. Sailor Moon turned and grab for the body of the Princess.

"Sailor Moon!" Sailor Chibi Moon ran to Sailor Moon.

Leaping, Chibi Moon hit Sailor Moon. She let go of the body and the two tumbled on the ground. Sailor Moon held Chibi Moon to the side as she tried to get up. "Kakyuu!"

Her body tore into pieces. A crystal floated from her body into the hands if another person.

Chibi stopped breathing. She had only meet these people a few times but in her time, she had known them for years. It was like deje vu seeing her friends stand in a line. Even though their features were changed a slight bit, it was them. It was her team.

"Your next opponent us, Sailor Moon."

Eight Sailors of the planets of the solar system stood infront of Sailor Moon, Chibi Moon, the Quartet, and Sailor Chibi Chibi. Their eyes glowed differently and gold bracelets shinned of their wrists. They were under the power of Chaos.

"It is..." The Quartet started off.

Sailor Moon took a step closer. "Everyone!"

Chibi's mouth dropped. No, she doesn't see the real picture. It wasn't her friends.

Then out from the darkness, a figure came out. A man turned toward them to face Sailor Moon. His black cape rippled in the wind as he walked out.

Sailor Moon's hands went to her mouth. "Tuxedo Mask."

She took another step. To save her life, Chibi ran. With all of her strength, she held on to her leg. Sailor Chibi Chibi shook her head, begging. "Sailor Moon!"

As Sailor Moon ran, she shook of Sailor Chibi Chibi. Her butt got the ground. Beside her, Chibi Moon yelled. "Sailor Moon?!"

"Darian!" She ran closer to them. "Everybody!"

"Kill Sailor Moon." Tuxedo Mask said in a grave voice. His eyes glowed gold. "And steal the Silver Millennium."
