Sailor Moon: The Cosmos

Chapter 16

Like she knew Sailor Moon would do, Cosmos watched the girl that she had grown find to sacrifice herself in the Cordon. As if she was an angel, Sailor Moon fell into her fate. At first, the light was small. Then it grew brighter as Sailor Moon fell deeper into the Cordon.

"Give me your powers!" The voice was tiny but Cosmos heard it.

She let Sailor Moon's power convert the Cordon. As it locked her inside, Sailor Cosmos used her power. She closed her eyes as her Light of Hope revived all of the stars.

Then the stars flew like tiny lightning bugs. They reached up to the sky and returned back to their homes.

As Sailor Cosmos stood on the edge of the cliff, she gazed at the stars. Millions of them flew past her. Her eyes searched for the brightest star, which Cosmos knew who it would be.

She could feel the presence of the different auras of Sailor Scouts behind her. Their light told her they were confused.

"These are the Sailor Crystals that melted in the Cordon." She told the Quartet behind her. Her eyes still search for Sailor Moon. "These are the Scouts before they returned to their planet. They are all star seeds that are just born but once they return to their planet, they will be back to their original form."

"Did Sailor Moon sacrifice her life to use the Silver Millennium's power?"

"No, this power is generated by thousands of Sailor Crystals from thought to galaxy." Cosmos told the pink aura Sailor. "This is Cosmos's crystal power to change everything to cosmos energy, the ultimate Lambda power."

"Cosmos Crystal?"

"Lambda power?"

"Who are you?"

Cosmos turned to them. "Who am I? I am Sailor Cosmos."

"Are you the future? The Ultimate Sailor Moon?"

Cosmos turned away. They looked to her as a Goddess. "No. I am a coward who ran away from where I should have been. I will never be able to match Eternal Sailor Moon's final show of courage and power."

One gasped. "Final?"

"Did Sailor Moon?" The other asked.

"Sailor Cosmos!" One cried. "Did our Princess..?"

"No need to sorry." Cosmos smiled at their emotion for Sailor Moon. They loved her like she loved them. "Your princess has been regenerated like the other Senishi. Eventually, they will arrive at the 30th century. This is the Galaxy Cordon where the galaxy's stars are created and destroyed. Enteral Sailor Moon tried to hold down Chaos and melted into the Cordon with Chaos. Thanks to Eternal Sailor Moon's power, the Cordon was able to restore to it's true form. But once again, it wasn't able to destroy Chaos completely."

"I have come from the far future. I ran from the battle with Sailor Chaos leaving everything behind." Cosmos began her story. "All the bloodshed, the gruesome battles. Sailor Chaos is so big and powerful. There is no say of winning by conventuals means. Even if she wins... Even if I win peace... The damages and sacrifices made will be too great."

Sailor Cosmos continued. "I had so many regrets. So I came back to do everything over. But I realized, I had already chosen the right path. No one can destroy where stars are born. We can live because this place exists. We can do everything over."

"I won't run anymore." Sailor Cosmos said with a curtain tone. "I can step forward. I have recorded the power from Sailor Moon. The power to lose everything and to save everything. The ultimate power I was forgetting."

"Sailor Cosmos.." Sailor Pallas started. "The Sailor Moon that saved the galaxy is Sailor Cosmos's true form."

"Like Eternal Sailor Moon did when I received my power to lose and save everything, that is when I truly became Sailor Cosmos." Lifting up her staff, the Quartet flats up with it. Sailor Cosmos ordered. "Now, go to your home, to the place you are suppose to be."

She stood there for awhile as she made sure they didn't come back. Like before, Sailor Cosmos stepped into the pink light.

"Your Highness?"

Queen Kibo turned to look at the boy. She smiled at him as the deje vu started. "Yes, messenger?"

"The Captain... He told me to give you this, Your Highness." The boy lifted up his hand to reveal a blue clear screen. "He said it is serious."

Instead of reading the message, Kibo walked up to the messenger. Her white heels clicked. As the Queen walked up to him, she grabbed the pad. "I know. I'm ready."
