Sailor Moon: The Cosmos

Chapter 8

Chibi runs ahead and lifts herself up on the swing. Moving her body back and forth, she got herself going.

From behind her, she heard Bunny's feet stop. "We need to get home, Chibi Chibi, or mom will get worried."

"Just a little bit more!" Chibi yelled. She hasn't seen a swing in years, let alone be on one. Her mother used to push her when she was very young. Then she got busy and never got on a swing again.

Her heart ached a bit more. She missed her family and friends. The memories they had together were so special.

A light push came from her back as Bunny came up. Chibi swung out higher. "Gosh."

"Yeah." Was all Chibi said. The wing blew through her red hair and she kicked her tiny feet.

"You're such a strange girl." Bunny observed. She gave her another push. "You don't tell me anything. I was surprised to find out that you're a Sailor Scout too. Where did you come from? Who are you?"

The swing stopped and Chibi looked at Bunny. She was her friend and I'm the future, her great grandmother. Could she keep her secret safe with her? Chibi wanted to tell her but the words wouldn't come out. "I am... I."

"Hey! You tricked me again! Tell me the answer correctly!" Bunny ran after Chibi as they left the swing set.

Dink. Dink.

They both turned. A tiny crystal laid on the ground right in front of then. A gale of wind push past them as their eyes looked over and saw a woman. Her yellow to red hair waved in the wind while her dress did the same. Bunny bent over and picked up the crystal. Extending her hand out, she gave the long haired woman the crystal.

"Thank you." A raspy voice came out of her mouth. Her eyes look down at Chibi. "You always have lots if friends, don't you?"

Bunny wrapped her arms around Chibi Chibi. They both stared at the woman in silence.

"That special Sailor Crystal attracts everyone."

All of a sudden, a bright light glowed around the ambre haired woman. Power started to fly everywhere and the wind picked up. Bunny put her hands I'm front of her gave as Chibi held of dearly to her leg. In a loud yell, Bunny asked "Who is it? Tremendous power!"

Lighting lite up the night sky as a storm started to come in. Rain hit down on Tokyo as the clouds started to spin darker and darker. The woman was producing a storm.

"This power is different from our other enemies! Who is it?" Bunny yelled mainly to herself.

The two looked at the woman a bit closer. Chibi studied the power. It was a large black aura and it was strong. Very strong. Has she finally meet the face of Chaos?

Building of Tokyo started to fade away. Chips of the building glowed into the sky then came back and crashed. As the storm went on, several building fell in defeat.

Chibi could feel Bunny tense up as she was thinking. She looked up as Bunny closed her eyes. Letting out her arms, the Holy Grail appeared. A bright white light shinned around the darkness of the storm.

A pale white hand reached out and a woman came closer to them. Chibi backed up as she looked into the red eyes of Chaos. Yes, she had found her enemy.

"Do you really think your friends will return and revive their bodies?" The woman taken over by Chaos asked in a mocking voice to Bunny.

"Because... We always fought together. Fought for the future.."

"The Holy Grail!" Chibi yelled.

In Bunny's hands, the cup started to dissolve away. Chaos's power consumed the light.

"Are you sure that the future you know is real? Do really think..." She pointed her finger at her forehead. The gold moon glowed on Bunny's forehead. "that the future you know will pass? What happened? Is this the end?"

Bunny started to tilt back and fall. Chibi grabbed on to her hand as they fell into a black hole.

"This planet is going to be destroyed."

Chibi looked down at Bunny and all hope evaporated from her. Looking at her eyes, she could tell Bunny is in a different place. A tear rolled down her cheek. No. Chibi thought to herself. This is not how it is going to end.

White wings came out of her back. She could feel her power shine bright as lifted Bunny up. The Holy Grail appeared back in Bunny's hands.

The woman stared at them. Her eyes widen as the white light from Chibi Chibi and the Holy Grail combined. The park lite up as the darkness pulled away. The buildings that were once destroyed were now rebuilding itself from the powers.

"No!" Chaos yelled from inside the woman. Her body disappeared.

Chibi and Bunny laid on the ground together. Sitting on her knees, the child with wings looked down at her friend like an angel. Her eyes were still closed but the Holy Cup had been revived.

Come on, Bunny. Chibi thought to herself. I need you. Wake up!

"Sailor Moon! Chibi Chibi!"

Chibi turned to see the three Starlights running to them. A wide smile came on her face. With their help, they can take Bunny pack and let her rest.

"We're okay." Chibi said to them. "The bad lady that attacked us disappeared."

Yaten looked around. "The city us back to normal."

"Without transforming... What power..." Seiya said mostly to himself. Chibi backed up to give him room as he scooped Bunny up in his arms. Her head laid on his chest as he carried her. "She can stand up to Galaxia. Is this the power of the Silver Millennium Crystal?"

Taiki's hand grabbed Chibi's. she looked up at the brown haired man. She smiled up at him. "Home."

He nodded. Yaten lead the way as Taiki and Chibi held hands behind him. In the far back, Seiya walked quietly with Bunny in his arms. Every so often, the child would look back to make sure her friend is okay.

Taiki noticed it too. "You are worried about her, uh?"

"Yeah."

Yaten turned around to look at Chibi too. His long white piney tail floated in the sir as he walked toward their condo. "You two are very close?"

She just nodded her head. Bunny and she were closer than they really thought. Chibi needed her like a planet needed water. Without Bunny, her future may never exist.

"You don't talk much." Taiki examined. He narrowed his eyes down at her like he was trying to read her mind. "What is going on in your head?"

"A battle." Chibi said honestly.

Right then, their condo door opened. Princess Kaykuu opened her arms as Chibi ran into them. The lilac smell started to dance around the red haired kid as she was welcomed into arms. The Princess looked up and saw Bunny in Seiya's arms. Standing up, she took Chibi Chibi's hand. "Lets take her inside and she can sleep."

Chibi and Princess Kaykuu walked in together as Bunny was laid in a bed.
