The place was dark. Sailor Cosmos looked around until her eyes adjusted to the place. In front of her, the Time Gate towered over her. On the door, the different faces of the moon were engraved on it. Two large grew columns held up the top part of the Gate.
The key felt cold and heavy in Cosmos's hand. She knew people weren't allowed here. It was forbidden to time travel. Sailor Pluto had warned her several time about the damages that could happen on the future. If one thing slipped up from the past, the future would be gone.
"I have to do this." Sailor Cksmos whispered to herself. She wrapped her fingers around the key then kissed her hand for good luck.
Her white heels stepped across the floor as her ripped and stained cap flowed behind her. Cosmos held back her shoulders as the door began to open. A white light peaked through the doors and grew until the Gate was completely open.
Sailor Cosmos took in a breath and closed her eyes. When she opened them back up, she found her voice. "Time Gate, take me back in time. Take me back before Sailor Chaos became her true form as a Senshi. Take me back to when she was found."
In a dead run, Sailor Cosmos ran into the light. Her arms reached out for the warm light that welcomed her. Her body fell into the light and swirled down. White hair flowed around her. Kibo looked around her to see her fuku changing. Her white skirt turned into a blue mini skirt and her white broad disappeared. In placement of of broad laid a pink heart in the center of a red bow. White sleeves hit her wrists and her long white hair grew short. Pink curls escaped from her now pink heart odangos. In her hand was a tiny umbrella.
Kibo blinked her eyes as she realized that she had turned into her child self.
As Kibo fell down farther into the light, she closed her eyes from the speed. Then her feet hit solid ground.
She moved around and looked. As she closed the umbrella, Kibo looked up to see the sun. Green trees rustled around her in the wind. Cherry blossoms swirled around in the air. She looked down at her tiny hands as the pink flowers landed in them. Why are there random cherry blossoms in the air, she thought to herself.
A strong scent of lilac hit her as her blue eyes looked up at a boat. Kibo put her umbrella on the ground as her little legs ran to the boat. She slowly climbed up the tires against the wood boat very carry fully. Kibo knew she was a child now so she wouldn't be able to do most of the things she could as an adult.
As she climbed up to the deck of the boat, she found a beautiful woman asleep. Her red hair glowed against the deck along with her red dress. Good power swirled around her body as Kibo looked her over. "I know this woman..."
In her textbooks from a long time ago, she had read about a Princess. Princess Kakyuu. Of course what slipped her mind was why she was so important.
She signed and looked back at the woman. Why was she sleeping? Her aura was powerful but it was in a weird state. It was like the woman needed the sleep to heal.
Kibo looked around the boat for an object to hold the woman. She had learned a long time ago that when Senshi were hurt, that had to go into a sleeping state. The best way to do that was to keep them in a sealed case of some sort. A case would be too heavy to me to carry though, Kibo thought quickly.
On top of a barrel was a brass burner. As Kibo reached for it, she realized the burner was light and easy for her tiny body to carry. As her white tennis shoes patted against the wood floor, she fell and knelt down by the Princess. Kibo set the burner beside the woman. Her body went transparent as it slipped inside the brass container. Kibo put the lid back on the burner.
As the child climbed down the tires again, she thought of places to stay. She knew she couldn't sleep on the streets. By the looks of her surroundings, the Time Gate had transported way back on time. So where was her home?
"Chibi."
The name was like a whisper. Kibo turned to the sound of her pin name. Her friends and family always taunted her with the name. As a child, she was always the smallest or the "runt" of the group. It drove her mad.
"Chibi. Chibi."
With the umbrella and burner in both of her hands, Kibo ran to the Findlay sound of her name.
