Kieran (Peters) P.O.V
Adrenaline pulsed through my veins as I heaved my body up to the small window, sighing at the large drop on the other end as I swung my legs over. Carefully manoeuvring myself into a position which would hurt the least with the impact of the ground. It wasn't a deathly fall, I was two stories up, but it would hurt like a bitch.
I couldn't believe I had even been stupid enough for them to catch me in the first place. I went down a one way street whilst being chased, how stupid could I be?
They had dragged me to the car as I willingly came, saving my energy for the most important event; getting my Sapphire back.
Shaking the thoughts from my head I took a deep breath, filling my sore lungs with much needed air, a dull ache in my ribs as I cringed slightly. I had came with them willingly, that didn't stop them from being rough though; bosses orders.
Pushing my hands off the cill everything went quickly, the thought of everything going in slow motion is complete bullshit. The drop was quick and painful as I rolled along the grass to stop from screaming in pain. Luckily nothing was too badly bruised or broken as I clenched my teeth together. My body aching with new pains as I cursed myself for being an idiot. If I had just turned down the road I had been planning on I wouldn't of been in this situation.
Pushing myself up I steadied myself. preparing myself for someone to come hurtling out the door with a gun pointed to my head, satisfied when no one came for me.
They had been stupid enough to bring me to Dariens home, as if the idiots didn't think I knew everything about the place.
When I became interested with Sapphire I invested all my time into her life, even if that meant some slight stalking on Dariens behalf once he came back onto the scene. I knew how to get her out of here if he dared take her from me.
Pushing my body forward I ran to the large metal gates surrounding the perimeter of the property, making sure the cameras in the vicinity were pointing in other directions I began the climb. A climb I had done many times at Sapphires property in the darkness of night.
It wasn't too far from my home, I could walk, taking the back streets encase then noticed and came looking for me. Which I knew was sure enough to happen. They checked on me every hour, giving me water to stay hydrated but not enough to satisfy my needs. They were simply keeping me alive.
Luckily they had no idea where I lived, changing our names on the property certificates was turning out to be a smart choice after all. I knew they would look for me, check all my files and when they did they would realise that I never existed on any housing registers.
