Confused

It was so hard waking up the next morning. It was really windy outside and I didn't want to get up.

I was so mad at myself for telling Michael the truth.
I wish I could turn back time and keep my mouth shut. Now that he knows, I don't know what to expect.

I had a bunch of calls from Jade and Kylie.

I called them both back, they just wanted to know if I was ok, because they hadn't heard from me since last night.

After I had returned all the calls, I went to take a shower. When I came out and called my mom.

"Hello?"

"Mom."

"Yes."

"Are you guys coming home soon? I miss you guys."

"Yes we come back tomorrow, I think not sure if we wanna spend the Fourth of July here or not."

"Oh okay, just let me know if you do, so I can make plans or not, I don't wanna spend that day alone."

"I think your sisters are coming back today aren't they?"

"I'm not sure I'll call them later." I said.

"Okay, are you okay, you need anything?"

"No, I'm okay, thanks. I just really miss you."

"I miss you too, baby."

"I love you."

"I love you more."

"Well, I'll call you a little later, I got a couple things to do."

"Okay sweetie." She said and hung up.

I called my sisters after her. They said they were staying another week. Great.

I called my brother but he didn't answer. I left a voicemail, just letting him know that I love and miss him.

Lastly, I called my Dad.

"Hello?"

"Hey Dad, how much longer are you going to be gone? I miss you."

"I miss you more Lye, don't worry, my last meeting got cancelled due to severe weather in India. All flights got cancelled, so no meeting. I'll probably be home later today, if not tomorrow morning."

"Yay! Okay be careful dad, I love you, I'll see you soon."

"I love you more, see you."

I hung up. "YES!" dad is coming home.

I went shopping. It was the only thing that got my mind of missing my family so much.

When I got home, the house was empty. Guess dad didn't make it today. Awe.

I called Bri, but she told me to FaceTime her instead. So I did.

"Bri oh my god, I miss you."

"I miss you too. Gosh, I feel like it's been forever."

"I know, how much longer are you staying?"

"Uh *Soph* she called out. 'What' I could hear Sophia's faint voice. *how much longer are we here for?* 'Two weeks.' Two weeks she told me.

"That's a long time." I said.

"I know, it'll go quick see, June is all over with, I'm almost home."

I told her everything that had happened last night.

"Wait you still like Mike? Lye you told me you didn't like him! "She looked at me with wide eyes.

"I'm sorry, I just, I was scared to tell you, I was embarrassed."

"Layla! I'm your best friend What The Fuck? I wouldn't of judged you, I know how much he meant to you."

"I know, I'm sorry, I should have told you."

"It's ok, anyways, so are you guys getting back together?"

I just looked at her for a moment.

"Are you?" She asked laughing.

"I don't want to."

"You shouldn't. He could be lying. I don't wanna sound rude, I just don't want you to get hurt, especially by the same person."

"Yeah, I know what you mean."

"Think about it, and this time, don't lie to me"

"I won't"

"Anything else you wanna confess?" She asked laughing.

"No, that's it." I said and laughed.

We talked for about three more hours. She then had to leave, she had a date with Luke. I was so happy for her. She finally found someone to forget all about Austin with.

I was looking at all the different Universities that I could go to online. It was getting really close to going back to school, and since I didn't try to get a scholarship while I was in high school, then I had the responsibility of looking for a school on my own.

While I was doing that, I heard the door bell.

"Who could that be?" I thought. I had called dad earlier so I knew he wasn't coming till tomorrow.
