Lost In The Cold

Chapter 16

"I th-think we should go n-now." Silkver stuttered nervously. "Y-y-you know, just to avoid anything worse."

Ace stubbornly ignored Silkver's idea.

Soni and Silkver both look at each other with scared faces.This going to end up terribly wrong. They both thought.

Suddenly, from the corner of Ace's eye, he saw something move that wasn't Soni or his sister. All he saw was a blur of light blue and white light. Then everything happened really fast afterwards. Xia had jumped out of nowhere, pushed the two cats aside, and attacked Ace. Soni tried to help him but Jay grabbed the back of his shirt and flew up with him. Silkver just stood frozen in place, stunned and helpless.

Jay flew up to the ceiling with Soni struggling to escape his strong grip. He stopped abruptly and threw him down. "Think fast!" Soni only had a few seconds to react but managed to soften his fall by spreading his white wings like a parachute.

Silkver looked at Ace, who was pinned on the ground by Xia and back at her brother, who was fighting with Jay in midair. She didn't know who to go to first.

"Silkver!" Soni called. "Aren't you going to help me?!" He said before getting thrown to the wall.

With no hesitation, his sister grabbed a shovel with her left hand and flew up near to Jay and Soni. She held it like a baseball bat and got ready to swing it at the fox's body until he turned around. She swung the shovel but to only find her brother lying on the floor a few seconds after. The pink cat let out a gasp before getting thrown to the wall by Jay.

"Aaagh!" Suddenly the pain on Silkver's right shoulder returned as she made contact with the wall and the floor afterwards. She slowly got up while Jay landed beside her. He lifted her up and pinned her against the wall.

"Thanks for doing the job for me" He said, raising a sharp piece of metal. "Now it's your turn...-"

"NO!" Ace appeared behind Jay and dragged him away. He whipped around and stabbed his wrist. Ace drew back his right hand as blood started to pour out and kicked him away instead.

"Ace!" Silkver said as he grabbed her hand and ran to an electrical power box. "What did you do to Xia?!"

He took out his knife and switched the blades a few times to a screw driver. "I unscrewed her hand and hid it somewhere-"

"You WHAT?!"

"It's not like she's feeling anything when I did it." He said opening the lid and cutting some wires. "It would give us enough time to keep her distracted while we deal with Jay."

Suddenly, the lights went off and everything was pitch black. Until Silkver's green, blue, and yellow hair streaks began to glow brightly. Jay was about to charge into her when he heard a familiar voice come from a door.
"J-jay?" Minty stood, speechless. Her orange eyes illuminated the dark room. "What is this?" She said, expression darkening. "What happened to you?!"

"Minty I-"

The small animatronic ran up to him. "What happened to you?!" She repeated again.

Jay's face turned from soft to a wicked smile. "So you do know what's happening..."

Minty extended her hand and electrocuted him. He fell on the ground and black wisps suddenly surrounded him.

"What in the world..." Silkver's voice trailed off as the wisps left him and formed into a human girl (yES humANS EXIstT). The girl hissed, showing her sharp fangs then glared at everyone with her magenta eyes before turning into a bat. The vampire bat then flew away out a high window.

Suddenly, everyone heard sirens outside and a door was busted down in seconds. A black cat with a floating tail and green and pink eyes stood at the door. Then a yellow cat with a burning tail appeared.

Karu gasped at the mess and Kit hid behind her.
