Chapter 4: I love my best friend.

*Alice's POV*

"Alice, pwede ka ba mamayang lunch?" Mark ask while I'm fixing my things.

"Uh.. lunch? Uhmm.. sabay kasi kami ni Harr-"

"Come on Alice.. just this time." pagputol niya sa sinasabi ko. I look at his eyes at nakita ko naman na nagsusumamo talaga siyang samahan ko. Baka may sasabihin tong timawang to? XDD Okay fine, sige na nga lang.

"Uhmm.. sige na nga, pero pagkatapos, sasabay ako sa best friend ko ha?" I told him.

"Oo, sige sige. Tara na?"

I knod on him. Naglakad kami ng sabay. Asan kaya ako dadalhin nito? Eh.. sana lang di mainip si Harry kakaantay sa akin. I have to tell hima something pa naman. :33 I hope he would understand me.. my feelings. Best friend ko pa man din yun. Hay.. ang hirap pero I hate it when I'm keeping a secret from my bestfriend. Kahit ito pang nararamdaman ko. I mean, itong bago ko lang napansing.. nararamdaman ko. :(( Am I blind? Matagal nang nasa harapan ko ehh.. t-teka. Saan kami papunta ni Mark? Hindi naman to daan papuntang canteen ah.

"Ah.. Mark, saan ta-"

"Uhh.. blind fold ka muna Alice." Mark said.

Bigla kasi kaming nagstop beside the Student's Affairs' Office. Then he immediately pull out from his pocket a white hanky.

"O-oy! Teka! Para saan ba yan?" tanong ko.

But he just smiled at me. He went behind me and started covering my eyes with the hanky. I heard some soft chuckles. May mga estudyante atang dumaan. Kung di ako nag kakamali, they said..

"Ang swerte naman ng girl."

Huh? Are they referring to me? No. Ang assuming ko naman! Nagulat ako ng biglang hawakan ni Mark ang kamay ko.

"Let's go Alice. Let me lead you."

Hindi ako binitawan ni Mark at iginiya niya ako sa kung saan wala akong kaideideya. My heart beat seems to be very fast.. parang hindi ko gusto ang ideyang pumapasok sa utak ko. Gayun pa man, dahil sa piring ko ay wala akong choice! :33 Whatever would be this, bahala na lang si Batman. XDD

"And.. one more step." then I step once."Andito na ba tayo?" tanong ko.

"Yeah.. wait up.. after counting up tp 5, pwede mo ng tanggalin ang blind fold mo."

"S-sige."

"1.. I like your chinky eyes, your cute nose, your rossy cheek and your red lips."

Wait! Bat parang may echo?! Nag mamic siya? Yeah.. I know! Nag mamic siya!

"Mark.. asan b-"

"2.. I like your smile, your laugh and the way your hair blown by the air."

"Mark.."

"3.. I like your simple fashion.. it fits you."

"Uhh.. Mark ka-"

"4.. I like the way you pout.. the way you get irritated." he chuckled.

Hindi na lang ako nag salita pa. I impatiently waited for the last count which is 5. -_____-

"Like now.. your irritated? Yeah cause you hate this thing." he said with a happy tone. "And there's only one thing I love Alice. 5.. YOU."

Mark snapped his finger, then I pulled off the hanky away from my eyes and to my surprise, the crowd shouted.

"MARK LOVES ALICE!!! SO MUCH"

Then party pauper comes next. When I tuned back to Mark, he's already kneeling with one knee. I notice Mark kneel down with one knee. Sobrang kabado na ako. Is he proposing? Urgh! Bat ganito kahanda?! I mean, couldn't he just asked me? Dapat ba talagang sa ganito pa?! I look on the stage and there is a tarpaulin posted with the words, "WILL YOU BE MY GIRL?" I look around and see how prepared the court is. Every posts have balloons. May mga hinahayaan ding lumutang lang sa ere. Benches are filled with  petals of roses. Ngayon ko lang din napnsin that I am standing on a heart shaped formed petals of roses.. eerh. So.. paano ba to ? I need help. Could I have a superman and save me? Get me out of here!! T____T

Mark kneel down with one knee. As if naman wedding proposal. -_____-

"Alice, for a long time of courting you, will you be my girl?" he asked.

I gasped for breath and let it out. Haist! What will I do? :(((( Urrrggghh!!!

I look at him and I say, "Mark.. uhmm. Kasi Mark." hindi ko matuloy ang sasabihin ko dahil ayaw kong makasakit ako. Ayoko siyang masakatan for he has been so good to me. Oo, mabuti siyang tao. Pero.. hindi ko siya mahal. Hindi siya ang gusto ko.. kung sasagutin ko man siya ng oo, may posibilidad na masaktan ko lang siya. Ayoko ng ganun. Ayokong nakakasakit ako. Pero pag di ko naman siya sinagot, masasaktan din siya. Aii bupols naman buhay to! :33

"Mark.. pwede nama-"

"N-nagulat ba kita Alice? May di ka ba nagustuhan?'' form there he stand up and look at me. Nakakakonsensya naman ang puppy eyes niya. A painful expression was drawn on his face. :((

"M-mark.. sorry." yun lang ang tanging salitang nabitawan ko at tumalikod na. Kahit ang daming tao sa gym, napuno ito ng katahimikan. I never thought that he would do that. Really.

I rush my way out of there and I don't know where I am going. Bahala na.. bahala na.
