Truth and Consequences

It's been a few days since we were attacked by the white ranger. Things have settled for a bit, thank goodness. Only problem is that Dr. O is fossilized. Oh the irony in that. Also, Trent's been acting weird lately. Like, he's all withdrawn and stuff, and his attitude changes in an instant. Like he'll pull me close then push me away. Honestly, he's giving me mixed signals right now. I mean, the other day, when we were at his pool, we were having like this moment; he actually almost kissed me. 

Trent was all happy and stuff and we had fun, but then later on that evening he just like totally shoved me away. I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with him and all, but no luck so far. But lately he's been withdrawn. I worry about his health too; he barely eats now a day and he's looking more pale. 

Also, it worried me when Trent quit work today. I mean, it was out of no where. He just came in, and dropped the bomb on Hayley and walked out. "I'll talk to him later, Hayley." I sighed as I helped Hayley with the customers. 

"Is there something going on between the two of you?" Hayley asked as she ran about.

"I wish." I sighed. I mean, I think there is. I hope. Like, with the mixed signals I'm getting from him now make me so unsure. "He's been sending me so many mixed signals lately that I don't know any more. I mean, one second he's hugging me and kissing my forehead and acting all happy and the next he's all pissy and shoving me away." I sighed in frustration.

"Well, why don't you go sort it out with him later. It seems like an answer would ease your mind." Hayley told me.

"Yeah, I will." I sighed as I wiped the counter. Just as soon as I got done wiping the counter, my communicator went off. Hayley ran over to me and told me to go because she just picked up the white ranger. 'Gosh damn it!' I cursed as I ran out of the cafe. I went to a secluded and area and morphed before getting on my raptor cycle and booking it to the site.

When I arrived there, the others were already there and fighting. "Aww man, I hope I'm not to late." I told myself as I drew my saber. I watched as Kira got knocked down and demorphed. 

"I never liked the color yellow." I heard the white ranger say as he approached her.

"Back off!" I shouted at him while landing a flying kick on his chest, knocking him back a few feet. "Super dino mode!" I activated my super dino mode (looks like Trent's super dino mode only the spikes and stuff are half the length). "You want to destroy her, you have to go through me." I told him harshly as I took a defensive stance.

"I've been looking for you." He said as he pointed at me with his sword.

"Well I haven't been looking for you, so don't get your hopes up." I retorted as I kept my eyes on him.

"What ever, I'll deal with you later." He tried to use his super speed to get past me, but I easily countered him with my ninja speed. "Fine, I guess I'll deal with you now." Then, he charged at me and slashed me up with his sword. I managed to block most of his attacks, but the ones that he did manage to land on me were big. He disengaged my super dino mode. Then, he started attacking me again with the same technique, only this time the blows where heavier. 

I didn't last long. I was knocked down to the ground in about a minute. I felt my power slip as I demorphed. 'Crap.' I thought as I tried to get up, but that didn't happen because the white ranger pushed me back down to the ground by stepping on my back. "I don't think that's a wise choice." He chuckled as he bent down to me. "Now, let's see the face of my nuisance." I felt his gloved hand grab my face before my head was violently yanked upward. I glared at him as he looked at me.

"Aria? I-I...." How did he know my name? The ranger stood up and groaned as he held his head. Conner and Ethan took this moment to attack him, and the ranger left after he took a good beating. Conner and Ethan powered down and ran over to Kira and I to check if we were alright.
