It's been about two days since Trent left. Two days since I've withdrawn myself. "Aria, you gotta eat." Hayley sighed as she slid a sandwich on a plate in front of me.
"I know... But I just have no appetite." I sighed as I poked the sandwich. I looked the sandwich over and see that it's a ham sandwich with lettuce.
"Would you just let go of him?! Seriously! Look at yourself!" Conner snapped at him, making me upset. All Trent has done nothing but hurt you. He dropped you," he snaps his fingers, "Like that after he confesses and toyed with your feelings. Why can't you just see that he's no good. Trent's bad and there's no helping him."
"He's not bad, he's being control by the gem." I replied in a low and dangerous voice as I stood up. "You know, you can say what ever you want about Trent, but that won't change how I see him because I know him unlike you." I hissed at Conner.
"You're just letting your feelings get in the way." Conner scoffed, making me roll my eyes.
"You know what, I'm out of here." I scowled, grabbing the sandwich that Hayley made me and going to the raptor cave. I quickly scarfed down the sandwich, and took Chomper out. "Come on boy. I need to clear my head." I sighed as I mounted him.
I really didn't pay attention much as I rode Chomper, all I could think about was Trent. Like, how he was doing, if he's okay, if he's fine, etc. I couldn't stop worrying about him. I started to get lost in my thoughts as I thought about Trent. By the time I zoned back into the real world, I found myself in a strange, yet familiar, forest. "Chomper? Where did you take me?" I asked in wary voice as I looked around the area.
The forest that I was in not a forest in Reefside. It's to green for Reefside. "Chomper, where did you take me? Take me back to the lair, now." I demanded in mad tone. Usually I wouldn't be mad at him, but I was not in the mood for it right now. Chomper shook his head and continued to go forward, taking me through the forest. 'Something about this place is so familiar.' I thought as I took in the scenery of the forest.
Chomper kept on running until we reached a small lake with a waterfall. I got off of Chomper and slowly walked towards the lake. 'So familiar...' I thought as I stared at the waterfall. "Ugh! Why can't I remember...!" I groaned out loud as I ruffled my hair in frustration. "What ever, Chomper let's-" When I turned around, I didn't see Chomper anywhere. "Chomper? Chomper! Chomper!" I called out as I frantically ran around the place.
After a while of walking around, I went back to the lake, hoping that Chomper showed back up there. I sighed when I saw no raptor at the lake. "Chomper! This isn't funny! I am not in the mood for this!" I shouted before plopping down on the ground. 'Great, I can't even go back because I have no idea which direction I should go.' I thought as I stood back up.
I closed my eyes and to relax a bit. I activated my power to see if thought would relax me any. Sadly, that only stressed me out more because I detected some people around. People that were hiding. My body tensed up as I stood up. "Come out! I know you're there!" I shouted as I got into a defensive stance.
Then, some ninjas came out of the ground and the lake, and I guess that jogged my memory. "Wait! Wait wait wait! I'm one of you!" I quickly told them as I held my hands up in the air.
"Lies!" One of them shouted before charging at me. The two of us got into a fist fight with me trying to convince him that I was a student of the academy. "You fight like one, but how do I know you aren't trying to wreck it from the inside out?" He asked as he held my fist.
