But I'm a Boy

I do not want to believe it,
But I have fallen in love,
With someone that growing up,
I was told I was not allowed to love,
Because he is a boy,
And I have grown up believing,
That the physical and chemical attraction,
Between two people of the same sex,
Is wrong, immoral and that it is a sin.
But I'm a boy,
In love with a boy.
The way he exists,
In this mysteriously complex manner,
I can't help falling in love with him,
But I'm a boy,
And this is wrong,
But it feels so right?
And I don't care for morals.
Drug are immoral,
But I still take them any way,
So how bad could loving a boy really be,
I mean it won't make my lungs toxic,
And although he is as addictive as drugs,
He will not bring me harm,
And although it is a sin,
I don't care for religion.
Why waste my precious time on this earth trying to please someone I have no proof of.
I love this boy,
But I'm a boy,
And I really don't care.
