After picking out a blue Chevy Camaro, Maks signed all the paperwork and we were able to leave with it right then and there. Macy took Maddox home in the safe car we came in, while Maks and I took our brand new sports car out for a spin before returning back to the house.

Maddox absolutely had a blast helping choose a new car. Besides saying the car had to be blue, which wasnt a bad choice, he was sitting in every seat to test out the comfortability and the feel of the wheel. He said the steering wheel had to be smooth and not too big. It was adorable and we all knew that he felt like a part of something in helping us. Luckily, this amazing car was blue and had a nice smooth wheel.

I got in the passenger seat and Maks put my crutches in the back. He got comfortable and whipped out of the parking lot and down the road.

"Don't get too comfortable driving this." I said "this baby is mine as soon as I can walk again."

"Not so fast." He said continuing to whip around and show off his driving skills. He was rubbing it my face that he was the owner of the car and had made the investment in it, not me. "You didn't think there wouldn't be a catch, did you? There are going to be rules when you get into this car."

"I understand." I said. He was right to be strict with me. I noticed he was getting on the freeway which was in the complete opposite direction than our house was in.

"Where are we going?" I said and he laughed. He continued driving until we got off at the airport.

"Your not taking me on an airplane are you?" I asked "not gonna lie, I would be a 10 times more excited if I could actually walk." The truth was I didn't want to go anywhere and I knew that Maks couldn't. He's in the studio tomorrow and couldn't just leave. And also, why would we leave this brand new car here unattended.

I came to the conclusion that we were here to pick someone up. Maks however refused to give away any information. When we got to the security checkpoint Maks handed me a ticket and told me to go through.

"What?" I asked "this is a joke right? Where am I going?"

"Now that your my 17 and that your no use to me anymore I am sending you off to boarding school." He said in a serious tone, "they will get you on the straight and narrow."

I rolled my eyes and his tough guy face faded and he began to laugh.

He laughed and then nodded, "yeah it is a joke, it's not a real ticket."

After taking the fake ticket back out of my hands suddenly a pair of hands that I was very familiar with covered my eyes from behind me. Those hands were in mine many times as we graced the ballroom together for the past couple years. The very first serious partner I ever had. Oh how things have changed, now here we are both not competing at Worlds.

"Guess who." She said, her voice the same as I had remembered it.
